This week brings us a divisional matchup between the Tennessee Titans and the Houston Texans.

Coming into this game, the Titans are one of the hottest teams in the NFL, covering the spread in their last four games. On the other hand, the Texans are coming off of an 18-point loss to the Raiders, where Josh Jacobs ran for 143 yards and three TDs.

The books are expecting a tight, low-scoring game. Let’s see if we can find an edge.

The Titans have been built on the back of Derrick Henry, while the rest of this team's pieces are supplemental. As of Friday, Ryan Tannehill is questionable for this game, and the Titans might see Malik Willis get his first start.

Losing your starting QB is normally a concern, but not in Tennessee’s case. The Titans have opted to run the ball 175 times in 271 plays. This team has always operated their offense through the run game, and they rarely stray away from that game plan. In the past three games, we have seen Derrick Henry run for an average of 115 yards a game against competent run defenses in the Colts and the Commanders

The Texans, on the other hand, have one of the worst rush defenses in the league, allowing nearly 165 rush yards per game. We saw Josh Jacobs run all over this team last week, and it seems there was nothing Houston could do to stop him.

Houston also allows over five yards per rush attempt, which puts them in the bottom five of the NFL for that metric. The Texans have allowed over 100 rush yards in five of their six games this season, with no improvement in sight. In his past four games against the Texans, Henry has run for 86, 211, 212 and 256 rush yards. There is no question: Henry has a history of running all over Houston.

Betting Picks

Last week, we cashed Josh Jacobs over 84.5 rushing yards against the Texans. This week, we'll do more of the same with an even better running back.

While there is uncertainty in the air at QB for Tennessee, for this pick, it won’t matter. The Titans will keep it on the ground as they always do, and Derrick Henry will do his thing, which is break tackles, elude defenders, and score touchdowns.

Join me in betting on Henry to have a BIG day in Houston.

Pick: Derrick Henry Over 99.5 Rushing Yards | Bet to 109.5 yards
