Texans vs. Chiefs Odds & Info
1:30 p.m. ET: Four of the seven sportsbooks we’re tracking are offering the Texans at +10, but you’ll still find the best odds (-110) at DraftKings and SugarHouse. Meanwhile, PointsBet remains the best book to buy the Chiefs -9.5 (-108).
If you’d rather take either team to win outright, these are the best moneyline options as of writing:
And if you’re looking to bet the highest over/under of the Divisional Round, here are the best lines for either side:
- Over 50.5 (-110) odds at FanDuel, DraftKings, SugarHouse, MGM and bet365
- Under 50.5 (-105) at PointsBet
12:15 p.m. ET: More books have moved the Chiefs to 10-point favorites since our last update, with four of the seven we’re tracking offering the double-digit number. That means DraftKings and SugarHouse now have the best spread odds on the Texans at +10 (-110).
You can still get Chiefs -9.5 at -108 odds at PointsBet.
Meanwhile, the seven books we’re tracking have aligned on the over/under at 50.5 since our last update. If you want the under, you’ll want to grab it at PointsBet, which is offering it at -105 odds. If you want the over, you can get -110 odds at the following books: FanDuel, DraftKings, SugarHouse, MGM and bet365.
And finally, here are the best moneyline odds as of writing:
11 a.m. ET: Only one of the seven books we’re tracking still has this spread at 10, so if you’re looking to back the underdogs, bet365’s Texans +10 (-115) is the best line you’ll find as of writing. That’s also the only book you’ll still find Under 51 (-119) as of writing, too.
But if you like the underdog enough to pull out the upset, you’ll want to grab the +380 at FanDuel.
And finally, if you don’t think this game will be as high scoring as the market has pegged it, MGM’s Under 50.5 (+100) is the best juice you’ll find.
Opening Texans vs. Chiefs Odds
After opening as 7.5-point favorites, the Chiefs bet all the way up to -9.5 within the first 24 hours. The spread has since continued to ping back and forth between 9 and 10.
The total was also quickly bet up from its 48-point opener and has continued to steadily rise throughout the week, settling between 50.5 and 51 as of Sunday morning.

Houston Texans Playoff History
This is Houston’s fourth trip to the postseason since Bill O’Brien took over in 2014. But in the five total playoff appearances before this one, the Texans never advanced past the Divisional Round.
Kansas City Chiefs Playoff History
Patrick Mahomes’ first postseason run ended in last season’s AFC title game. Now the team that knocked he and the Chiefs out — the Patriots — are out of the running. With the Ravens also out, the Chiefs are the highest remaining seed.
They’ll look to return to their first Super Bowl since the 1969 season.
