  • Matthew Freedman continues his series featuring one of his favorite prop bets for each day of 2019.
  • On Tuesday, he looks at the Rangers-Bruins game (8 p.m. ET, NBCSN) and the opportunity to arbitrage the shots on goal prop for New York winger Mats Zuccarello.

Each day, I publish at least one quick-n’-dirty piece highlighting a favorite prop of mine.

For more information on my research process and the resources I use, see the master list of my 2019 prop bets.

Freedman’s Favorite NHL Player Prop Bet for Wednesday, Feb. 6: Mats Zuccarello Shots on Goal, Over/Under 2.5

  • Over: +155
  • Under: +120

This is a bonus pick for today, in addition to the PGA head-to-head matchup pick of Michael Thompson vs. Talor Gooch.

Today we have just a two-game NHL slate, but there is still an exploitable prop to be found in the Rangers-Bruins game (8 p.m. ET, NBCSN).

In the FantasyLabs NHL Props Tool, we have New York winger Mats Zuccarello projected for 2.8 shots on goal, and the under for his prop of 2.5 is +120.

Luckily, I've found the over at +155 at another sportsbook.

If you want to bet the over in a situation that offers fantastic expected value, go for it. Per usual, I will #Arbitrage, because I like free money.

The Pick: Over 2.5 (+155), Under 2.5 (+120)

Be sure to follow me in The Action Network app, where each day I post additional official player prop picks.

Today, I have two other NHL player picks in the app. I will also probably post some NBA player picks in there as well.
