Brit sides worth backing

England's record at Wembley in qualifiers is excellent and should continue their path to qualification from Group F with the minimum of fuss against Slovenia at Wembley on Thursday night. Meanwhile, Scotland's home advantage should just be enough to make the difference against Slovakia in the same group.
On Friday, Wales travel to Georgia in a battle between Group D's draw specialists. Both sides have drawn five games apiece so far in qualifying, and with Wales looking to consolidate second position in the group, +250 on the draw looks a smarter bet here than the -143 on a Wales win.

The Value Picks

Northern Ireland are having an outstanding qualifying campaign and sit in second place in Group C. They're big underdogs against group leaders Germany at Windsor Park, but only the bravest of punters would back the boys in green to beat the Germans, who are perfect in their qualifying campaign to date with eight wins from eight games played. However, a gutsy performance from Northern Ireland could bring the draw into play. At +400, I reckon that's worth a small punt.
There's very little else of value, with the bookies going overly safe with their odds. Turkey are just two points behind Iceland in Group I and are actually slight odds-against to pick up the win, at +100. However, I like the look of the draw at +240.
