Wow. Argentina never looked right in this match as they were completely outplayed by Croatia for the full 90 minutes in a decisive 3-0 loss.
It started with Argentina goalkeeper Willy Caballero mishitting a clearance, which led to a beautiful Ante Rebic one-touch strike to make it 1-0. Luka Modric extended the lead to 2-0 with a shot from outside the box, and the match was capped off by an Ivan Rakitic goal to seal it 3-0.

It was an embarrassing loss by Argentina all around, who now need to hope Nigeria win/draw tomorrow to give them a realistic chance of advancing.

Kylian Mbappe scored the only goal and was +450 to be first goalscorer. France are now tops in Group C with 6 points, followed by Denmark (4) and Australia (1).
Peru still has a chance to escape the bottom with a victory over Australia, but it will merely be consolation at that point.
Match #21: Denmark vs. Australia (Group C)
Result: Denmark 1-1 Australia
Moneyline: Draw +250
Spread: Australia +0.5 (-115)
Total: Push (2 goals)
Christian Eriksen struck for Denmark in the seventh minute of the game to put the Danes up 1-0.

Eriksen was +600 to score the first goal, and odds were +400 that a goal would be scored within the first 10 minutes of the match.
The lead lasted fewer than 30 minutes when Australia was awarded a penalty kick through VAR and converted to make it 1-1. Both teams to score in the first half paid out +500 while the 1-1 halftime score paid out +800. Australia to score a PK any time during the match paid out +750.
The second half was very exciting, with chances created by both teams, but neither was able to find the back of the net as it ended 1-1. The draw paid out +250 and closed with just 19% of moneyline bets.
