You know the moment: someone drops a slip screenshot that looks playable, and you’re pinch-zooming because the price is already twitching. With Playbook, that process gets way easier.
Just post the screenshot, reply with @Playbook, add the sportsbook you want, and it kicks back a pre-filled slip link you can review before you place anything.
Introducing Playbook’s Image-to-Bet Slip Bot
This feature rolled out in Playbook’s 5.38 release. It uses Playbook’s entity mapping service to read what’s in a screenshot and turn it into a trackable slip link. You can do this either on Discord or on X (formerly Twitter).
Try Playbook on X | Add to Discord | Open Playbook in the Action Network app
Step-by-Step: Use Playbook to Turn a Screenshot Into a Pre‑Filled Bet Slip
Four steps, and you’re done.
- Reply to the screenshot and tag @Playbook. See a slip screenshot on X or in your Discord? Reply right under it and tag @Playbook.
- In that same reply, type the sportsbook you want. DraftKings, FanDuel, whatever you’re using. Naming the book is what tells Playbook where to build the slip.
- Wait for Playbook’s reply. It answers with a quick confirmation and a link to the pre-filled slip it built from the screenshot.
- Open it, then do your usual sanity check. Check legs/markets, current price, and whether anything got missed because the screenshot was cropped or blurry. Depending on the book, you might pass through an Action screen first before it hands off to the sportsbook.
Auto-Built Slips vs Manual Bets
Both work; it just depends on what you’re looking for.
Auto-Built Slips (Playbook AI)
Pros
- Fast, especially when it’s a parlay screenshot
- Cuts down on wrong-market mistakes
- Handy when you’re going between props and games
Cons
- You still need to verify the slip
- If the screenshot is blurry or cropped, it can only pull what’s visible
Manual Bets
Pros
- Total control if you want to tweak legs or shop around
- No reliance on screenshot quality
Cons
- Slower, and it gets worse with every extra leg
- More room for human error
If you’re tracking a bunch of plays at once, Playbook works like an AI betslip generator: it gets you to “review the slip” fast, and you decide if it’s still worth clicking confirm.
Does Playbook work for both parlays and single bets?
Yes! It can build single bets and multi-leg parlays from screenshots, as long as the legs are actually visible.
Top Features to Use on Playbook
The screenshot-to-slip trick gets all the attention (as it should), but once you’re already in Playbook, it starts acting more like a real assistant than a link machine.
Smart AI Insights for Every Bet
This is the “help me think” side of Playbook. You can use it to sort through a slate, pull up a matchup, sanity-check a prop idea, or just keep your card from turning into a notes-app mess. You’re still making the call; you’re just not doing all the research alone.
Build Sharper Parlays with AI Precision
Parlays aren’t complicated; they’re just annoying. One leg turns into three, then you’re wondering which book even has the combo you want, and whether you accidentally grabbed the wrong alternate line. Playbook can help you keep a parlay build clean, so you’re not accidentally mixing markets or alternates and ending up with a different bet than you meant to play.
One-Click Bets with QuickSlip
QuickSlip is for when you’re done thinking and ready to load the slip. It compares odds across online sports betting apps and gives you a link that preloads the bet at the book you choose.
Not in the app? The same idea works through the Playbook Bot on X or Discord. Tag @Playbook and it replies with the slip link.
Personalized Picks
“Personalized” gets thrown around a lot online, but this time it’s real. Playbook’s version is tied to what you follow and your betting history, so the stuff it shows you can start to feel more relevant over time. Personalized betting picks, all the time.
