ESPN BET went live on Tuesday afternoon, but if you search for "ESPN BET" in the iOS app store, it's below some other sports betting apps — sportsbooks, betting info services and other sports apps.

It's currently 23rd in the app store rankings for "ESPN BET" searches, although given it's a new app without many reviews/ratings, it should shoot up to the top quickly in the coming hours and days.

The first result is for PENN Play, which is owned by PENN but not the same as ESPN BET. It's for rewards, and you won't be able to bet on sports on that platform.

You can get $250 in bonus bets once you download the app by using ESPN BET promo code ACTNEWS. If you already have a PENN account, go through the sign-up flow and use your same email, then you'll be prompted to login.

Are there other ways to download the app?

You can scroll down in the app store, or you can head straight to ESPNBET.com and it will prompt you to download the app if you're on your phone. On desktop, it will take you to the homepage of the betting site.

What's the ESPN BET promo code?

ESPN BET promo code ACTNEWS unlocks $250 in bonus bets when you bet $1 or more on anything. So make a $1 bet on Tuesday night, and you'll get the bonus bets when your first wager settles.

The bonus bets will be split into five, $50 bonus bets. You'll $200 right away, and then the next $50 over the next 24-48 hours.

So how do bonus bets work at ESPN BET? You keep any profit from those wagers, but not the bonus bet itself.

So say you bet $50 in bonus bets on a team that's +150 on the moneyline.

If they win, you keep $75 in cash ($50 x 1.5) but you don't keep the bonus bet. If they lose, your bonus bet just goes away.

What states can I use ESPN BET in?
