BetMGM Bonus Code TOPTAN1100 Gets Deposit Match up to $1,100 for Wednesday NBA, NHL & MLB

BetMGM Bonus Code TOPTAN1100 Gets Deposit Match up to $1,100 for Wednesday NBA, NHL & MLB article feature image

Along with Wednesday's continuation of NBA and NHL playoffs plus MLB action, BetMGM is offering a 20% deposit match of up to $1,100 with BetMGM bonus code TOPTAN110. There is a 10x rollover bonus with this sports betting promotion.

OK, that likely sounds confusing, so let's break it down: What this means is you'll get 20% back in bonus bets of whatever amount you first deposit at BetMGM. So, depositing $100 would get $20 in bonus bets, $1,000 would get $200 and $5,500 would get the maximum of $1,100 back. The 10x rollover means for every $1 in bonus bets earned, you must wager $10.

This promotion is live to bet with for a limited period and is best in market. It's available to use in all BetMGM states except for Massachusetts, Ohio, New York and Washington D.C.

If you're interested in a more simplistic bet, you can gain $200 in bonus bets with BetMGM bonus code ACTIONNHL with any $10 moneyline bet placed in Massachusetts or Ohio. All other BetMGM states (excluding New York and Washington D.C.) will net $100.

You will activate the $200 (or $100) in bonus bets instantly upon betting on any team to win. So placing at least $10 moneyline on the Heat to defeat the Bucks in Game 2 in Massachusetts or Ohio will bank $200 into my account. I can bet with this value, but not withdraw it.

The same moneyline offer is also available for NHL Playoffs and MLB:

How to Bet BetMGM's Deposit Match

Since this betting offer has several dynamics to it, let's get down to brass tacks about exactly what to expect and how you can benefit from it.

We suggest you deposit the entirety of your bankroll size as it serves all the more value for you to bet with along with the 20% in bonus bets you'll see. Suppose I deposit $1,000. I'll have the $200 in bonus bets to wager with.

Here’s the catch: Like all deposit matches, this one comes with a rollover, which is designed to prevent you from taking the bonus cash and running. This BetMGM deal has a 10x rollover on the bonus amount. So basically you must wager 10x what you received as a bonus over your first 30 days with BetMGM.

This may sound overwhelming, but it's actually not too shabby in comparison to DraftKings’ deposit match, which has a 25x rollover: here you’re bound to lose the whole bonus while trying to hit the requirement.

We did a full breakdown of how the different kinds of sign-up offers work if you want to read about deposit matches more in detail.

So I need to wager 10-times that $200 in 30 days for the bonus money to become eligible for withdrawal, which is $2,000-worth in this case.

You win at about a .500 rate, so it’s not as much money out of pocket as one might think.

Let’s look at it this way: If you were to place 20, $100 bets to hit the rollover threshold. Each of these bets being point spreads in football or basketball — all priced at -110.

  • If you go 11-9, you’ll make about $100 in profit, plus you’ll get the $200 free from BetMGM. You’ll now have $1,300 in your account off a $1,000 deposit.
  • If you go 10-10, you’ll lose about $91 from those bets, but still get the $200 in free cash for a total profit of $109.

Betting the point spreads at -110 to hit the rollover is just an example. You can bet anything as long as it’s shorter than -250 (so -240 is OK, -350 is not). We prefer plus-money in most cases.

You also cannot bet on the opposite sides of the same game at BetMGM to hit your rollover requirement.

Profiting With BetMGM Bonus Bets

We've got a bonus betting method that explains why you should always wager bonus bets on odds between +200 and +500. This will profit the best net value. Check out Action's +EV betting guide to understand why this makes the most sense mathematically.

Wednesday NBA Parlay Example

A wise strategy to wagering bonus bets is drafting together a parlay. Here's a pair of expert NBA best bets we suggest to exemplify how a parlay would work with bonus bets:

  • Bryan Fonseca on Jrue Holiday o1.5 Steals (+185):

The Heat win was largely driven by an outlier three-point performance. They were 27th in the NBA in three-point percentage during the regular season, and in Game 1, they hit 15-of-25 from deep — 60%. Which is to say, the Bucks will have to do a better job of running Heat shooters off the three-point line with or without Giannis, and this is where Holiday comes in.

The Bucks haven’t been good at forcing turnovers all season — in fact, they were dead-last at forcing just 11.8 per game. But they haven’t been in a situation where they’ll need to create said turnovers in dire straights as they’ll be on Wednesday. Plus, with Tyler Herro out, more of the ball-handling burden will be on Jimmy Butler, which could make Wednesday night an exhausting one. And it’ll have to be him and Bam Adebayo, who Heat fans would hell you has butterfingers at times.

All that said, you’re giving me two Holiday steals in a must win game at nearly +200 odds? I’m taking that chance.

  • Matt Moore on Timberwolves-Nuggets Over 223 (-110):

I expect the Wolves to go away from the staggered rotation where they had Rudy Gobert and Towns together in the second unit in the non-Nikola Jokic minutes. If you just put Towns out there, I think he eats against the second unit of the Nuggets with Aaron Gordon, who got into foul trouble as the small-ball center.

The Nuggets also didn’t shoot well and I think we’ll see some regression on that front. The Nuggets mentioned that they want to play with more pace and get into the clock earlier. They are one of the best transition teams in NBA and when actually put the effort in, their offense is elite.

My number makes this total 229.5 and my model usually like the under in Nuggets home games, but this one projects as an over on the current line.

How things will settle: With these two legs, we have a parlay of +444 odds. With $100 worth of bonus bets placed on it, we'd either get $444 back in real value or $0. Bonus bets aren’t kept whether we win or lose with them.

Signing Up at BetMGM

BetMGM has a few things you should know before you get started.

  1. You must be 21+ years old to register and bet
  2. You must be located in a BetMGM state when placing your first wager. You don't have to live in Ohio to wager, you just have to be in the state at the time of activation and making a bet. Check out our travel betting guide for more details. You can withdraw money once you've already left the state (so if you were in Ohio on Monday and bet the Super Bowl, you could withdraw in your home state next Monday).
  3. You must have access to a valid deposit method. Credit card, bank account transfer and PayPal are the most popular, though some credit cards will flag gambling and not allow you to deposit.
