The Milwaukee Bucks and Washington Wizards present some interesting betting lines, as Milwaukee will look to bounce back from the 118-95 loss to Washington on Sunday.

Let's unfold what to look for when betting Wizards-Bucks with this promo, how it will access bet credits and more insights for Tuesday with Caesars.

Applying This Caesars Promo

This promotion means you will be replenished with whatever you waged up to $1,250 should your bet lose.

Washington Wizards (+250) vs. Milwaukee Bucks (-320)

It's the third place, 23-13 Bucks seeking redemption against the tenth place, 17-21 Wizards on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET. Washington rides a five-game win streak into Milwaukee, which includes their auspicious victory over the Bucks on New Year's Day. "Auspicious" in the sense that the Bucks were without four key players: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday and George Hill.

Most of those omissions are expected to return to the floor to bolster Milwaukee's production against a stout Washington defense on Tuesday. Here's what our NBA analyst Jacob Mckenna thinks regarding betting the spread in this one:

Having fewer injuries is certainly an advantage for Milwaukee, but I think Washington’s newly found momentum will be enough to keep this game close.

Given Middleton’s absence and the fact that Washington is averaging 121.0 points per game on 55.3% shooting in their last five, despite Bradley Beal missing the last three games, I think we see the Wizards stay competitive and cover the spread. I would play this down to 6.5.

Choosing a Pick

So here's the pick for Tuesday evening: Alt Spread Wizards +6.5 at +106

Say I deposit $100 on this play. It's either win like any other bet and receive a $106 profit for a $206 payout. But if it loses, and get the $100 I lost back in bet credits.

Using Caesars Bet Credits

Betting with bet credits is similar to a friend spotting you for a bet. If it wins, you'll get your profits, but not the bet credits. If it loses, I lose the bet credits and make no profits.

Suppose the Wizards bet falls through and I have $100 in bet credits. I'll see those in my account as soon as the bet settles. If I was looking to have a late week night, I can take all $100 (although I could break it up into separate bets) and place it on Fresno State to defeat New Mexico at 11 p.m. ET. These odds are set at +160 with Caesars.

If Fresno State wins, I'll win $160 of real cash back, but lose the $100 in bet credits. But if they lose, I am at $0.

Quick Tip: How to Hedge

In sports betting circles, you may have heard the term “hedge” thrown around a time or two. Hedging is a more grounded approach to betting; a bettor will wage on the opposite side of their original bet when the odds of it winning becomes more realistic.

Here's an example: Let’s say I bet $1,000 on the Wizards to upset the Bucks at +250. The Wizards are leading by two possessions with less than a minute to go. The +250 is no longer available on the market at this point, as the Wizards moneyline would be minus since they’re leading.

I can either ride the bet out and hope the Seahawks can finish ahead or hedge the bet to insure my $1,000. This means I would place a wager on the Bucks to come from behind and win the game. It would cut my winnings if the Wizards still win, but also provide some sort of profit in the case of either result.
