BetMGM Bonus Code TOPACTION Offers $1,000 Value for UFC 285, All Events article feature image

Saturday's UFC main event featuring Jon Jones vs. Ciryl Gane arrives with a bet of $1,000 using BetMGM bonus code TOPACTION.

Those looking to reap value from the heavyweight fight at 11:30 p.m. ET, any of the other 13 UFC bouts or other sporting events taking place Saturday can sign up and place a bet up to $1,000 at BetMGM Sportsbook.

If the bet falls through, the amount of the wager will be returned in the form of BetMGM bonus bets.

Let's get into some Saturday UFC examples to demonstrate how things will go down with this bet.

How to Bet BetMGM Bonus Code TOPACTION

We like to suggest betting plus-money wagers when using promo bets; it's best approach mathematically.

When looking for a lucrative play for Jones (26-1-0) vs. Gane (11-1-0), Sean Zerillo like's Gane's value as the underdog:

projected Ciryl Gane as a 44.5% underdog (+125 implied) in this matchup, and I would bet his moneyline down to about +135 (42.6% implied), at roughly a 2% edge compared to my number.

I projected the bout to go to a decision 50% of the time (+100 implied), and I don’t see value concerning the total. While both heavyweights are durable, I would lean toward the under. UFC heavyweight bouts end inside the distance 75% of the time.

If you’re interested in betting on Jon Jones, I would play him by submission (projected +500, listed +600 at BetMGM). I doubt he wins a 25-minute striking matchup. To justify his favoritism, Jones needs to grapple – and if he does so successfully, he should get to positions that would justify his submission price.

Moreover, depending upon the book, I see slight value in Gane’s knockout prop (projected +462). While Jones has proven durability, the power discrepancy between the light heavyweight and actual heavyweight classes is often overlooked.

That said – as with the Gane vs. Ngannou fight – we will avoid heavyweight madness in the prop market and bet the underdog moneyline.

With this in mind, let's say we place a bet worth the full value of this promotion at $1,000 on Gane at +150.

This bet could either profit $1,500 for a payout of $2,500 with a Gane victory or return $1,000 in bonus bets.

How to Use BetMGM Bonus Bets

We'll have these in our account as soon as the bet settles (if Gane loses). So we can then use them on anything moving forward.

The stake is taken back by the book whether we win or lose, so we only get the profits in this case.

We can split these up, so we'll take $100 and place it on Rory McIlroy to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational after the final round Sunday.

Chase Howell says there's been plenty of heat on McIlroy since the odds opened:

Bettors have been placing bets on all of the world’s best golfers, but there is one who is getting a significant amount of the action — Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy.

McIlroy opened at +1000 on BetMGM and has moved to +900 after receiving 8.6% of the bets and a whopping 29.8% of the handle. The World’s No. 3 golfer accounts for over 20% more money than any other participant in the field.

At +900 odds, if McIIroy wins in Bay Hill, we'd net $900 back or profit nothing.
