Kentucky online sports betting is here, which means sportsbooks are rolling out the red carpet for new users to compete for their wagering dollars.
Below we've compiled new-user offers from seven sportsbooks, as well as boosts and bonuses available to existing users like FanDuel profit boosts, DK's no sweat bets on TNF, and so much more. And when I say existing, it just means that anyone can claim them at any time — you're an existing user if you signed up earlier today.
If you have a boost you're considering, check out our guide to figuring out which odds boosts are worth blindly betting. We also did a full breakdown of how to optimize these sportsbook promos.
Promos for New Users
1. BetMGM
- Promo code: TOPACTION or ACTIONGET
- Offer: $1,500 first bet on the house or $200 in bonus bets
BetMGM is offering new users $200 in bet credits when they bet at least $10 on any NFL game (code ACTION4GET), or a $1,500 first bet on the house (code TOPACTION).
Either one of these offers can be used on Thursday Night Football.
2. FanDuel
- Promo code: Use this link
- Offer: Bet $5, get $200 in bonus bets or $5,000 no sweat first bet
FanDuel is giving all new users $200 in bonus bets if they deposit and wager at least $5 on any event. So bet something Thursday, and you'll have the bonus bets later tonight.
FanDuel is also offering Kentucky bettors a $5,000 first bet on the house with a minimum $2,000 deposit. That means if you make your first wager between $2,000 and $5,000, you'll be refunded in bonus bets if it loses, up to $5,000.
3. bet365
- Promo code: TOPACTION
- Offer: Deposit $10, bet $1, get $365 in bonus bets
bet365 has probably the simplest offer on the market — just bet $1 on anything and get $365 in bonus bets. You can then use those bonus bets on anything. Just make sure you deposit at least $10 and bet your $1 or more on something -500 or longer as your first bet — meaning -450 is OK but -650 is not.
4. Caesars Sportsbook
- Promo code: ACTION4GET
- Offer: Bet $50, Get $250 in bonus bets
With Caesars, you'll get $250 in total bonus bets, but they'll release over the next month — $50 up front, then $50 every Monday for the next four weeks.
This makes it tougher to maximize the offer right away, since you'll have to be patient and use the bonus bets as you get them. But remember the rules when those bonus bets release — underdogs around +300 to +500 in tight, two-way markets.
5. Fanatics
- Promo code: Use this link
- Offer: Bet $50, get a $150 official jersey
Fanatics' offer doesn't tie to Packers-Lions tonight — you'll bet $50 and get a $150 official jersey. That's it!
6. Barstool Sportsbook
- Promo code: No code needed
- Offer 1: $100 bonus bets
- Offer 2: $1,000 deposit match with 20x rollover
The Barstool deposit match comes with a hefty rollover, meaning you have to wager 20x your bonus amount before you can cash it all out. This usually results in you losing much of your bonus before it even. So I'd take the $100 in bonus bets for now.
With ESPN Bet just a few months away, it might be worth holding out to see what they offer.
7. DraftKings
- Promo code: No code needed
- Offer: Bet $5, Get $200 in bonus bets
DK is offering a $1,000 deposit match with a rollover or $200 in bonus bets.
DK does have by far the best existing-user promos of any sportsbook, and will have a bunch of weekend on college football, NFL, MLB, and even WNBA.
A perfect segue to all the existing-user promos for Packers-Lions.
Promos for Existing Users
1. DraftKings
Offer 1: 1+ Point on TNF, +100
DraftKings is giving all Kentucky users a no-brainer boost — bet $50 on a single point being scored in Packers-Lions and double your money if it happens.
Offer 2: Up 10+ Points Promo
DraftKings has brought back one of the industry's favorite promos — if the team you bet on the moneyline goes up 7+ points at any time, you win your bet no matter what. And if they don't go up 7 points but still win, you'll still cash your moneyline bet. Sometimes this offer is 10 points, but tonight it's 7.
With this promo, it usually makes more mathematical sense to take the underdog, so I'll go with the Packers at +110.
Offer 3: No Sweat Token
DraftKings is offering a no sweat bet (likely $10 or $20 for most users) each day on Monday (they also had it for Thursday and Sunday). This means that if your bet with this token loses, you'll be refunded in bonus bets equal to what you lost (up to the specified amount).
Offer 4: 50% Profit Boost on Any TNF Bet
With these standalone profit boosts, you generally want to find a line that's favorable to the rest of the market, which often comes in a two-way market so you know the price is decent.
DK has the best price in the market on Packers (+2.5 at -108) and the over, so both of those are good options.
2. FanDuel
Offer 1: 1+ point scored TNF for +100, max $50
FanDuel has a literal "no-brainer" boost, offering 1+ point scored in Packers-Lions at +100 for Kentucky users.
Offer 2: Lions and Packers to Each Score 1+ TD in Each Half
This promo has slight value at about 5% EV, so it's not a must-bet by any means, but could be worth half a unit.
3. Caesars
Offer 1: 50% SGP Profit Boost
Caesars has a same game parlay profit boost with a few caveats:
- Must be +400 or longer
- $25 max bet
- Max winnings $1,000
I tailed our guys on Action Island with a 3-legger, going with:
- Jordan Love over 3.5 rushing attempts
- Josh Reynolds over 2.5 catches
- Aaron Jones under 9.5 rushing attempts
4. bet365
Offer 1: St. Brown Super Boost
bet365 has a strong Super Boost in Kentucky, giving out Amon Ra St. Brown 50+ receiving yards at +100 instead of -400. That price is -320 at FanDuel, and this is a clear no-brainer, even accounting for the vig.
Offer 2: 30% SGP Boost on Lions-Packers
bet365 will often give you a 30% same game parlay profit boost as long as it's 3+ legs for standalone games like Thursday Night Football and Monday Night Football.
I like to build 3-leg parlays all with two-way markets (meaning there's an over and an under on both sides, or a yes/no). Here's what I went with tonight:
- Jordan Love over 33.5 pass attempts
- Marvin Jones under 14.5 receiving yards
- Jayden Reed under 3.5 receptions
It comes out to +575 without the boost, and a little over +850 with it.
5. BetMGM
Offer 1: $25 bonus bet
BetMGM is offering Kentucky users an extra $25 once they opt-in and make a $1 bet. This is in addition to any new-user promo you claim.
