Cowboys v. Vikings Odds: Dallas Moves To Big Underdogs With Dak Prescott Set To Miss Sunday Night Football, Cooper Rush To Start

Dak Prescott will miss the Cowboys' Sunday Night Football clash against the Minnesota Vikings.
Dallas opened as the favorite and was bet as high as -3 early in the week.
However, Prescott told reporters Thursday his status for Week 8 was murky after straining his calf in the previous game against the Patriots, which sent Dallas' odds down heavily.
Minnesota flipped to chalk and moved from roughly +160 underdogs to -150 favorites.
Now, about an hour before the start of Sunday Night Football, the Vikings are set up as -195 favorites.
Their spread has also moved from +3 to -4 — a whopping seven point swing.
Prescott, who was favored for Comeback Player of the Year after suffering a season-ending injury last season, had been fresh off a 445-yard, three-touchdown performance over New England in Week 6.
The former fourth-round pick was on a heater, tossing at least three scores in four straight.
His backup is Cooper Rush, who last appeared in a game all the way back in 2017. He has never made an NFL start in his career and is undrafted out of Central Michigan University.
The total, meanwhile, was bet as high as 55 prior to the news that Prescott would miss his first game of the season.
The total is now 49 — a six-point drop due to the decrease in quarterback quality.
