Manchester United welcomes Watford to Old Trafford on Saturday for their Premier League match that's pivotal for these clubs for very different reasons.
When it comes to the Red Devils, they're in a battle to hold onto the fourth place in the table and the final Champions League spot for next season.
Meanwhile, the Hornets are in a fight for survival, entering the game in 19th place and four points from safety.
Watford did spring a surprise victory in the first fixture between the sides, but it’s hard to see a repeat performance in this latest showdown.
Man United Continuing Stellar Run of Form
United enters the game on its best form of the season, holding a seven-game unbeaten run in the EPL and only dropping one league game in its last 14 tilts.
If you shorten this tear to the last six fixtures, the Red Devils have posted a +6.6 expected-goals difference, according to fbref.com, and won the xG battle in all of the games.
Manager Ralf Rangnick has his team creating a lot of chances during this stretch, averaging 2.17 xG per match and scoring two goals per game.
With midfielder Paul Pogba returning from injury to go along with Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes, this is going to be a tough team to beat in the race for fourth place.
Results Similar With Hodgson Leading Watford
If Watford was hoping for a new manager bounce, it hasn’t quite come to fruition under Roy Hodgson.
The Hornets have only picked up four points from his five games in charge, scoring just two goals in the process.
Watford has improved defensively under Hodgson, though, holding opponents to an average of one xG per match compared to the 1.91 average before he was hired.
With United, Arsenal and Wolverhampton all upcoming in their EPL slate, this is going to be a really tough stretch for the Hornets and their fight for survival.

There are different ways to back the home team in this match, but there's one bet that has the best value on the board to me. That said, my best bet is to play the Single Game Parlay of Manchester United to win with Both Teams to Score (Yes) at +195 odds.
In all of the dominance I talked about, the Red Devils have only kept two clean sheets in their last nine EPL matches, which includes games against similar foes in Leeds United, Burnley, Brentford, Aston Villa and Newcastle United.
United also failed to shut out Atlético Madrid in its midweek Champions League showdown and Middlesbrough in the FA Cup clash.
While Watford has had its issues recently scoring goals, the club still has three players who each have five league goals in Ismaila Sarr, Joshua King and Emmanuel Dennis. The Hornets will be looking to hit United on the counterattack, and the latter has shown it is susceptible to these kind of sides.
At this big of a price, I think this is the best value on the board to back the home side at Old Trafford.
