Before moving from New Jersey to Atlanta, 26-year-old Ryan Wright went to the Meadowlands and put down $40 on one of his crazy parlays.
He took the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the Denver Broncos in Week 7 and added the Washington Nationals to beat the Houston Astros in the World Series. He then added LSU to win the College Football Playoff, the Houston Rockets — with the new acquisition of Russell Westbrook — to win the NBA title, and the Dallas Stars to win the Stanley Cup. Wait, what?
This crazy $40 parlay ticket was sold on @PropSwap for $3,000 this morning. Would net buyer $431,035. 🤔😳 pic.twitter.com/u6JmBQoCvt

"Someone I knew, Thomas Harley, was just drafted by the Dallas Stars, so I said, 'why not?'" Wright said.
The payout if they all won? $434,035.25.
The Chiefs beat the Broncos, 30-6.
The Nationals beat the Astros in the World Series, four games to three.
LSU won the national title, beating Clemson, 42-25.
With two of the more difficult legs to go, Wright cashed out on Thursday, albeit at a smaller price. He sold his ticket on PropSwap, where bettors can sell their open props to other bettors, for $3,000. It was an offer he couldn't refuse. The Stars were down 1-0, Westbrook was hobbling and the actual value of the ticket based on the odds was hovering around $1,500.
"It actually happened pretty quickly," Wright said. "Barstool posted the ticket and it got around."
The buyer? An experienced bettor in Las Vegas, who actually offered a bettor on PropSwap $60,000 for a Texas Tech men's basketball to win ticket that would have paid out $300,000 if they beat Virginia in the national championship game.
"It was a good deal for Ryan," said PropSwap founder Luke Pergande. "He made it 75 times his money."
Is Wright sad he can't follow it through?
"I mean all my siblings, I have seven, have seen it, my cousins, my friends," Wright said. "I've enjoyed the run."
If it wins, it would be the largest PropSwap ticket to ever cash.
