We jet into the last block of Premier League fixtures ahead of the international break, with several solid matchups on the docket. And that means another intriguing parlay is in the cards for soccer bettors.

Jeremy Pond: It might surprise those not currently updated on their recent history, but Manchester City has put together miserable showings against Manchester United of late. The Cityzens are winless in the latest four meetings, plus they've been shut out in the last three league clashes.
However, I'm throwing past performances aside ahead of this tussle. City simply has too much depth and firepower for the hosts to comfortably deal with for 90 minutes. Throw in the gutting loss of injured Raphael Varane in the defensive third and I don't see how the visitors leave without three points.
That said, I'm backing Manchester City to win with the total going over 1.5 goals at +100 odds as my leg of the parlay. There have been at least three goals in United's last three league outings, which leads me to believe we can reach at least two in this spot.
I can't emphasize enough how big Varane's loss is to the Red Devils' defense, so expect the Cityzens to get the job done and earn the victory.

Matthew Trebby: Newcastle are 19th in the league, although their form in front of goal is not the biggest season why. Eleven goals in 10 games puts them in a tie for 13th in the league, but 23 goals against is second worst to Norwich.
The Tyneside club has scored in eight of its 10 Premier League games this season, including seven of its last eight. Also, both teams have scored in nine of their 10 games.
Brighton, meanwhile, aren't the chance-creating machines they were last season, but there's still plenty of quality going forward to net at least one against the league's leakiest defense. The Seagulls have netted three goals in their last two games, which is more than respectable given that they were against Manchester City and Liverpool.
This one is pretty straightforward. Newcastle's defense is awful, but they have enough quality going forward, highlighted by Allen Saint-Maximin, to net against Brighton and make this a tricky game for the 'Gulls.
