The Midweek Coupon: UEFA Champions League Matchday 1

div class="kg-card-markdown">The UEFA Champions League kicks off this week as the cream of European soccer launches into the biggest and most prestigious club competition in the world.
Most of the tournament's big guns all have eminently winnable opening games, with Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Chelsea and PSG all big odds-on favorites to kick off their respective campaigns with victories.
The notable exceptions to this face each other in the first round of matches this week, as Barcelona entertain last year's losing finalists Juventus in the match of the round at the Nou Camp.
The other standout tie from Matchday 1 sees Borussia Dortmund travel to Wembley to take on Tottenham Hotspur in what should be a hugely entertaining game.

Initial thoughts:
- There's value everywhere you look in the Spurs v Dortmund game. Take a view and pick your poison. Personally, I like the draw here.
- The draw also looks tempting in the Barca v Juve game. Juventus have started Serie A well and will fancy their chances of coming away with at least a point.
- Monaco look decent odds away at Leipzig at 12/5.
- I also like Atletico Madrid at 7/4 to beat AS Roma at Stadio Olimpico.
