  • Brooks Koepka is the 2021 Shriners Children's Open favorite, with Abraham Ancer and Webb Simpson right behind him.
  • There's typically a player in a full-field PGA TOUR event around 10-1 odds or better, but without many clear horses in the field, this tournament feels a bit more wide open.

Without a heavy betting favorite in the field, Brooks Koepka leads the way at the 2021 Shriners Children's Open with plenty of golfers nipping at his heels.

Out of 13 players with odds shorter than +3000, Koepka is the lowest at +1600. Most would look at Koepka's season as a success with a win at the Waste Management Phoenix Open and TOUR Championship appearance, but no major victory is probably a disappointment to him. He's famously noted he judges his success by majors, so it's hard to know how motivated he'll be this week.

Abraham Ancer, Webb Simpson and Louis Oosthuizen are next, each coming in at +1800. Ancer picked up his first career PGA TOUR win at the St. Jude Invitational, while neither Simpson nor Oosthuizen were able to close a victory in 2020-21.

Viktor Hovland (+2000) has multiple wins on TOUR, but the two players next to him are still hoping to break through. Scottie Scheffler and Will Zalatoris have been close but are still searching for a win. They're each +2200 this week.

Coming off a win at last week's Sanderson Farms Open, Sam Burns is +2500 to go back-to-back.

Kevin Na is a two-time winner of this event and priced up with the favorites at +2500. He won in 2019 in a playoff over Patrick Cantlay. Last year's champion Martin Laird is +15000.
