Which NBA Win Totals will be Decided in the Final Week of the Season?

The end of the NBA regular season is in sight. This is great news for fans awaiting the start of the playoffs, but for NBA win total bettors, it’s a sweat. Nine teams have already gone over their preseason win total, including the Chicago Bulls, who had the lowest total (22.5) in the league.

Eleven other squads have underperformed Vegas expectations, headlined by the Golden State Warriors, who had the highest win total at 67.5.

That leaves 10 team win totals to be determined. With just a handful of games remaining, which squads will go over or under their season win total?

Here are the 10 teams that could still go over or under their total.

Based on average projections from ESPN, FiveThirtyEight.com, numberFire and Basketball-Reference.com, these teams are projected to top their season win total:

• Celtics: 3.7-2.3 (projected remaining record)
• Nets: 1.6-3.4
• Nuggets: 2.5-2.5
• Pistons: 2.9-2.1
• Heat: 2.9-2.1

Boston is a lock to go over with three of the team's final six games coming against the Bulls, Hawks and Nets – three tanking squads. Speaking of Brooklyn, the Nets are projected to finish with 26.6 wins. The team’s win total was 26.5, meaning this might not be decided until the last game. Over bettors should feel good about the Nuggets and Heat, as each team is either trying to make the playoffs or improve its seeding.

• Clippers: 2.9-2.1
• Timberwolves: 2.2-1.8
• Knicks: 2.2-2.8
• Kings: 1.2-2.8

With Atlanta, New York and Sacramento actively trying to lose, the under looks like a lock for each team. Los Angeles and Minnesota are projected to finish within one game of their win total and will keep bettors sweating until the very end.
