DraftKings Account Verification
DraftKings usually runs a quick check during sign-up, but sometimes it needs a bit more before everything’s fully active. If an account gets flagged for review or stays unverified, you might be asked for a government-issued photo ID, a selfie, and in some cases a bank or financial statement tied to recent DraftKings activity. When that happens, support notes that manual checks can take around 24-48 hours.

How to Find and Use DraftKings Bonus Bets

Sure, store ratings won’t tell you if Face ID fails a certain percentage of the time or how long withdrawals take down to the hour, but they do show the general pattern in what users are liking right now, and where frustration keeps popping up.

Recent iOS reviews lean positive, though not perfectly consistent. One February user mentioned that placing bets and moving money around felt quick after a year of use, while a July 14 review highlighted the live betting setup in a good way. Another July 14 user, who said they’ve been on the app almost daily for over three years, still rated it well but noted that live markets were taking longer to load than before.

Odds move quickly here, so DraftKings gives you a bit of control before you lock anything in. You can set it to ask for approval on changes, accept only better odds, or allow adjustments either way.
Moonshot
Moonshot is a newer MLB-focused live bet that DraftKings rolled out in 2026. It’s built around a single plate appearance, where the bet builds value as the at-bat plays out.
You pick a live game, place the wager before the plate appearance starts, and set a target multiplier. Different outcomes during the at-bat add toward that target. You can also cash out early if it’s moving in your favor, but if the batter records an out before you cash or hit the target, the bet ends. It’s only available in certain states, so access depends on where you’re playing from.
Same-Game Parlays and SGPx
Same-game parlays are a core part of the DraftKings setup, and SGPx takes it a step further by letting you mix single-game bets with same-game parlays across multiple matchups.
Most of the appeal comes from how much you can combine in one slip. Spreads, totals, and player props all sit together, which makes it easy to build around a single game or spread things across a slate. As always with parlays, more legs means more moving parts.
Progressive Parlays
Progressive Parlays work a bit differently from a standard parlay. You can build them with three to 12 over/under picks, and you don’t need every selection to hit to get a payout. The return scales based on how many of your picks are correct, and the bet slip updates as you add selections so you can see what you need to cash. Availability depends on your state as well.
Pools
DraftKings also runs a Pools section where users can enter or set up group-style contests. What’s available changes depending on the sports calendar, so the options you see can differ throughout the year.

What Changed at DraftKings in 2026?
DraftKings made a few notable product changes in 2026, and most of them are already visible in the app.
On the betting side, Moonshot arrived in June and gave MLB users another live format built around individual plate appearances. DraftKings also brought more of its products into the same app, so Sportsbook users may now see DraftKings Predictions and DraftKings Racing alongside the regular betting menu, though each product still has its own eligibility rules.
DraftKings also overhauled its loyalty program this year, including a new rewards currency and updated program name. Here’s how the current setup works.
DraftKings Rewards and Crown Cash
DraftKings Rewards is the current loyalty setup, replacing the old Dynasty Rewards name. Crown Cash came in during the July-August 2026 rollout as the main rewards currency.
Tier Credits determine your annual status, while Crown Cash is what you earn and can use across eligible DraftKings products or redeem through supported options. It shows up as a dollar amount in your account, but it can’t be withdrawn as cash.
The five annual tiers are still Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Onyx.

Silver and above is where Crown Cash earning starts to kick in. The higher you go, the more you get back, with Gold, Diamond, and Onyx each bumping up Sportsbook Crown Cash multipliers along the way.
The 2026 update also layered in a few tier-based extras like Crown Cash boosts, birthday rewards, and Milestone Rewards. What you actually get depends on your tier and whether you qualify for specific perks.
Other DraftKings Sportsbook Promotions
DraftKings has a few other promos running alongside the new-user offer, though what you see can vary depending on your state, account, and the event.
Profit Boosts, Odds Boosts, and Odds Surges are added as tokens before you place a bet, you can only use one per slip, and they don’t combine with other promo tokens. There are also Early Win promos on select markets, but you’ll need to opt in and attach the token to a qualifying bet before placing it.
DraftKings Refer-a-Friend
DraftKings’ current Refer a Friend offer gives both users a matched Bonus Bet when an eligible new customer signs up through a personal referral link and deposits at least $25. The reward matches the friend’s qualifying deposit up to $100, so a $50 deposit gets each person a $50 Bonus Bet, while deposits of $100 or more cap the reward at $100 each.
You can earn referral rewards for up to five friends, putting the maximum at $500 in Bonus Bets. Each Bonus Bet expires seven days after it’s issued. The person being referred also needs to be completely new to DraftKings; an existing Sportsbook, DFS, Casino, or Pick6 account can make them ineligible for the offer.

DraftKings Sportsbook is currently available online in 27 states, along with Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico.

A Brief History of DraftKings
