Claim the best NFL betting promos now with Week 1 right around the corner. The 2026 NFL regular season opens Wednesday, Sept. 9, when the New England Patriots visit the defending champion Seattle Seahawks. One night later, the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams meet in Melbourne for the NFL's first regular-season game in Australia.
That gives you a much wider menu than we had earlier in the offseason. NFL futures, division odds, season win totals and awards markets are still available, but Week 1 spreads, moneylines, totals and player props are now part of the conversation too.
The sportsbooks we like most for NFL betting are Fanatics, BetMGM, bet365, DraftKings and FanDuel, but before you register, check how each welcome offer pays. Some rewards arrive over several days, some require an opt-in, and some expiration windows can move faster than you think.

DraftKings Sportsbook
DraftKings' current offer starts with a qualifying first bet of at least $5. You don't need that bet to win, but the $200 in Bonus Bets won't arrive all at once. Instead, you'll receive four $50 Bonus Bets, one every seven days over 21 days. You must click to claim each one, and each Bonus Bet expires seven days after it's issued.
That timing works well for the start of the NFL season, but don't forget to check your account and claim each reward before it expires.

How To Choose the Best NFL Betting Promo
Start with the requirements and the timeline. The amount you can earn is only part of the offer, and it doesn't always tell you how much work is involved before you receive the full reward.
Take Fanatics' current Bet $20, Get $350 in FanCash promotion. To unlock the full reward, eligible new customers must opt in via their bet slip and place a $20+ cash wager at odds of -500 or longer within seven days of creating an account. The sportsbook grants $50 in FanCash every day for your first seven days, provided you manually opt in each daily period to claim it. Because each daily bonus expires just 24 hours after issuance, staying consistent is essential—you must actively participate every day and use your rewards immediately before they vanish.
DraftKings uses a different structure. A single qualifying first-time wager of at least $5 can get you up to $200 in Bonus Bets, but the reward is divided into four $50 installments released over 21 days. FanDuel also spreads its offer over multiple days: you have to place a qualifying $5 wager on seven consecutive days to earn $50 in Bonus Bets for each day.
Before choosing an offer, look beyond the advertised amount and ask four questions: What wager qualifies? Are there minimum-odds or market restrictions? When and how will the rewards be credited? And how long will each reward last once it arrives? An offer worth $1,000 may sound good, but it may not be the best fit if you don't want to place qualifying wagers every day.
Finally, remember that promotions can vary by state. Always review the offer shown for your location before depositing or placing the qualifying wager.

Best Ways To Use Bonus Bets on the NFL This Week
NFL Week 1 gives you lots of places to use promo credit without tying it up for months. The regular season opens Wednesday, Sept. 9 with Patriots-Seahawks, continues Thursday with 49ers-Rams in Melbourne, and runs through Monday night’s Broncos-Chiefs matchup. So if you’d rather use a Bonus Bet on a spread, moneyline, total or available player prop that settles the same day, you’ve got options. Futures are still in play if you already like a season-long number.
The part worth watching is how the promos themselves line up with that schedule.
FanDuel requires one online real-money wager of at least $5 between 3 a.m. ET and 11:59 p.m. ET on seven consecutive days. Each qualifying day can earn you up to $50 in Bonus Bets, for a maximum of $350, and each reward expires seven days after you receive it. That means you’re dealing with separate expiration dates rather than one $350 balance with one deadline.
Starting that seven-day run on opening night? One small catch: Week 1 has NFL games Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday, but none on Friday or Saturday, which means you’ll need another eligible wager on those off days if you want to keep the FanDuel streak alive. Missing a day because there was no NFL game on the board is still missing a day.
DraftKings gives you more breathing room after the initial qualifying bet. The current welcome offer requires a first wager of at least $5 at -500 odds or longer, and that wager doesn't need to win. The $200 reward is then released as $50 in Bonus Bets every seven days through a click-to-claim schedule spanning 21 days. Current offer details break the full reward into eight $25 Bonus Bets, so each $50 release effectively gives you two $25 tokens. The Bonus Bets and their click-to-claim offers expire seven days after issuance.
That setup goes hand-in-hand with an NFL schedule spread across several weeks. You could use one $25 token on Week 1, hold the next release for a later slate, and avoid forcing all $200 onto whichever Sunday happens to arrive first. Just remember the qualifying bet has an odds floor. A -600 favorite would miss the -500 cutoff; -500, -400 or plus-money odds clear it.
Fanatics has an even longer daily requirement. Its up-to-$1,000 FanCash offer calls for a qualifying cash wager of at least $1 at -200 odds or longer on 10 consecutive days, beginning on the day you create the account. Fanatics matches the qualifying wager amount in FanCash up to $100 per day, and promotional FanCash expires at 11:59 p.m. ET seven days after issuance. Look at that -200 rule. A -250 favorite is outside the qualifying range, while a bet at -200, -150 or +120 is within it. And, as with FanDuel, an NFL-only plan won’t cover a consecutive-day streak that crosses Friday and Saturday of Week 1. So, if you’re chasing the full 10-day FanCash match, those off days still need an eligible qualifying wager somewhere on the board.
Once the promotional credit is in your account, pay attention to profit, not just the amount shown on the Bonus Bet token. DraftKings doesn't return the Bonus Bet stake as part of a winning payout, and bet365 uses the same structure. Put a $25 Bonus Bet on +200 and a win produces $50 in withdrawable profit. Use that same $25 at -200 and the profit is $12.50. The original $25 promotional stake doesn't come back in either.
Does that mean every Bonus Bet belongs on a longshot? No. A bigger plus-money payout comes with a lower implied chance of winning. If you already like a +200 price, the Bonus Bet structure can make that return attractive. Reaching for +800 simply because the stake came from a promo is a different story.
And last but not least, futures are still useful when the number itself is worth betting. Just separate the Bonus Bet deadline from the date the wager will actually settle. DraftKings asks you to apply the Bonus Bet before the expiration shown in your Rewards section. Once you’ve placed an eligible future before that deadline, the wager can remain open while the underlying season or market plays out.
Expert Note: Before submitting an NFL promo wager, give the bet slip one last look. Is the correct reward applied? Does the wager clear any minimum-odds rule, such as -500 at DraftKings or -200 for the Fanatics offer? When does that specific reward expire? And if it wins, does the Bonus Bet stake come back? Those details can change what actually shows up in your cash balance.
