Sunday’s NBA Injury News

12 p.m. ET Update: James Harden will sit for the first time all season due to a bruised thigh when the Brooklyn Nets face the Washington Wizards on the road. Donovan Mitchell and Derrick Favors have been upgraded to probable Sunday as the Utah Jazz look to win their 12th game in a row.

The Brooklyn Nets have listed James Harden on the injury report with a left thigh contusion making him questionable to play against the Washington Wizards Sunday. Kevin Durant, who rested during their Friday game, is not on the injury report and is expected to play.

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is still bothered by a tight back and is listed questionable prior to Sunday’s match. Embiid took a hard fall in the Sixers’ game against the Los Angeles Lakers Wednesday, but played 26 minutes Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Donovan Mitchell is questionable for the Utah Jazz Sunday as he continues to work his way through the NBA’s concussion protocol. Mitchell missed the past two Jazz games, but his teammates have continued with their 11-game win streak despite missing their star.
