NBA Injury News

4 p.m. ET Update: Kemba Walker and Robert Williams are listed as doubtful for Game 4. Walker is dealing with soreness from knee medial bone bruise. Williams has a sprained ankle.

Luka Doncic and Maxi Kleber are listed as probable Sunday against the Clippers. Serge Ibaka is expected to miss Game 4.

2:30 p.m. ET Update: Anthony Davis has been cleared to play in Game 4. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been ruled out. Chris Paul is a game-time decision for Sunday's game.

Chris Paul has been downgraded to questionable in advance of Game 4 on Sunday due to a right shoulder contusion he suffered in the series opener. Paul didn't practice Saturday and Suns head coach Monty Williams added that the training staff told Paul he is ready to play. There has been no report on how many minutes Paul will have allotted should the medical staff officially clear him Sunday.

Anthony Davis is as listed questionable with a sprained knee. He suffered the injury during Game 2 while blocking Devin Booker, but told reporters, "there's no chance I don't play tomorrow," regarding his status ahead of Game 4. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope didn't return to Thursday's win after suffering a knee injury, and is listed as questionable for Sunday.

Kemba is officially considered questionable due to a knee ailment that apparently hampered him Friday's win. Walker was a game-time decision heading into that game and that seems likely again Sunday.

Robert Williams is doubtful ahead of Game 4 on Sunday. He didn't return to Friday's contest after suffering a sprained ankle. Tristan Thompson will continue to start at center and see the vast majority of the minutes there.

Luka Doncic complained about a neck issue after the loss on Friday, and he is currently questionable in advance of Game 4 on Sunday due to a cervical strain. Despite the questionable tag, it seems unlikely Doncic will sit barring a setback. Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle told the media prior to the loss on Friday that Kleber would likely be questionable for every game the rest of the first-round series due to a sore right Achilles that dates back to the regular season.

Serge Ibaka is presently listed questionable heading into Game 4 on Sunday as he deals with lingering back problems that forced him to miss two months at the end of the regular season and Game 3 on Friday. Even if Ibaka is cleared to play, Clippers head coach Ty Lue may rely on Marcus Morris and Nicolas Batum has his primary frontcourt tandem.
