BlackJack’s Tuesday Plays: Total Mayhem
Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports
What's happening brothers? The Stanley Cup and NBA Playoffs both have critical games tonight. The sides could be tricky plays, but the totals? The totals look pretty nice. Factor that in with a great starting pitching matchup out in Orange County, and three totals are popping off the board today. Let's get out there and cash those tickets, baby.

Tampa Bay Lightning at Washington Capitals (-120)
8 p.m. ET
The Caps look incredible right now. They stormed into Tampa and stole both games. Now they return home looking to send the Lightning into their offseason. Tampa Bay is still a dangerous team, but this game should be considerably tighter than the first two. Tampa knows its season is on the line here and will want to limit the Capitals' chances. Expect a tough, low-scoring battle in this one.
THE PICK: Under 6

Cleveland Cavaliers at Boston Celtics (PK)
8:30 p.m. ET
It's tough to pick a side here. The Celtics have been excellent at home in the playoffs, and they destroyed Cleveland in Game 1. But I've learned never to doubt LeBron and Cleveland in Game 2s. I'm not sure whether they can come in and defeat Boston at TD Garden, but I think it's a much closer game. And that means we'll see more free throws down the stretch, more valuable possessions and ultimately more points to go over the low total.
THE PICK:Over 203.5

Houston Astros (-165) at Los Angeles Angels
10:07 p.m. ET
This is a great starting pitching matchup tonight in Anaheim. Gerrit Cole, who's starting for the Astros, has been simply splendid (4-1 with a 1.43 ERA) and is an early favorite to win the American League Cy Young Award. His opponent, Jaime Barria, is young off to a great start himself (3-1 with a 2.45 ERA). With these two horses going tonight, I'm looking at a First Five Innings play.
THE PICK: 1st Five Innings Under 4.5 (-120)
