With the NFL postseason on the horizon, 12 teams brace for what should be an eventful Wild Card Weekend.

Eagles (7)-Buccaneers (2) kicks off Sunday's three-game slate.

The Buccaneers — who finished 13-4 and narrowly missed the top seed in the NFC to the Packers after securing the NFC South — have home-field advantage for this contest.

The Eagles, meanwhile, went 9-8 and eked out the last of three wild-card spots with the tiebreaker over the Saints.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The forecast at the time of writing is calling for precipitation and winds in the 20- to 30-MPH range

The second injury report of the week was loaded: 12 players on Philly's roster and 16 on Tampa's (two more from yesterday).

Latest on Eagles-Bucs Injuries

Thursday Update

The Thursday injury report for the Eagles brought some good news and contained no new additions.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts (ankle) practiced in full again, which is a good omen for his availability come Sunday. Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (rest) and center Jason Kelce (rest)  were upgraded from non-participants to full participants after a day of veteran rest, while right tackle Lane Johnson (rest/knee) was upgraded from a DNP to limited. Left guard Landon Dickerson (thumb) and receiver Greg Ward (back) were upgraded from limited to full participants. Defensive end Josh Sweat (back) was the lone DNP of the day while battling an illness.

The Thursday injury report for the Buccaneers featured the same 14 players with two new additions. Quarterback Tom Brady (rest) and defensive lineman Steve McLendon (rest) were given a rest day and did not participate in today's practice.

Wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) was upgraded from limited to full today. Evans is a crucial component of the Buccaneers' passing attack, especially with Chris Godwin (knee) and Antonio Brown unavailable for the rest of the year. Aside from Brady and McLendon, wide receiver Cyril Grayson Jr. (hamstring) and running back Ronald Jones II (ankle) were the only other non-participants. Jones is doubtful to play, which will likely spell for a big game for Leonard Fournette. The lone other change was linebacker Anthony Nelson (ankle), who was upgraded from a DNP to limited.

Wednesday Update

The Wednesday injury report for the Eagles was littered with eight offensive players and four defensive players to make an even dozen.

Headlining the report is quarterback Jalen Hurts (ankle), who has been dealing with an ankle injury for multiple weeks, forcing him to miss the finale vs. Dallas. He was a full participant today, however.

Among the other Philadelphia offensive players listed were running back Miles Sanders (hand), wide receiver Greg Ward (back), left guard Landon Dickerson (thumb), right guard Nate Herbig (ankle), left tackle Andre Dillard (knee), right tackle Lane Johnson (rest/knee) and center Jason Kelce (rest).

Sanders is the most prominent name on this list and has missed the past two games with a hand injury. He was limited today, along with Dickerson, Dillard, Herbig and Ward.

Johnson and Kelce, meanwhile, were the only non-participants on the offensive side, though it appears both were given an off day. Dickerson and Johnson both missed Week 18.

Running back Jordan Howard (stinger) was a noteworthy omission from the report. He missed the season finale due to the injury, and was also recently activated from the COVID-19/reserve list.

The Philadelphia defensive players listed were linebacker Shaun Bradley (stinger), defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (rest), defensive end Josh Sweat (illness) and cornerback Kary Vincent Jr. (foot).

Cox did not practice and was given a day of rest. Sweat also did not practice while dealing with an illness. Bradley was limited, while Vincent practiced in full.

The Wednesday injury report for the Buccaneers was more significant, with 14 players total — eight offensive and six defensive.

The Tampa Bay offensive players listed were wide receivers Mike Evans (hamstring), Cyril Grayson Jr. (hamstring), Breshad Perriman (hip) and Justin Watson (quadricep), running backs Ronald Jones II (ankle) and Ke'Shawn Vaughn (ribs), punter Bradley Pinion (right hip) and center Ryan Jensen (shoulder).

Jensen was on the injury report last week with a shoulder injury, but ultimately played, marking his 17th appearance of the season.

Three of the four receivers — Evans, Perriman and Watson — were limited and Grayson did not participate; he's unlikely to play.

This is a situation to monitor as the team enters the playoffs shorthanded after losing wideouts Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown late this season.

Running back Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was another notable omission from today's injury report.

We haven't seen him since he was placed on injured reserve after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 15.

This is good news, especially since Jones — who missed last week and did not practice today — is doubtful for this matchup. Vaughn, meanwhile, practiced in full.

The Tampa Bay defensive players listed were linebackers Shaquil Barrett (knee), Anthony Nelson (ankle) and Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder/knee) and cornerbacks Jamel Dean (hamstring), Sean Murphy-Bunting (hamstring) and Rashard Robinson (groin).

Barrett, Pierre-Paul and Robinson all missed last week's contest against the Panthers.

Nelson was the only non-participant of the group, while the other five practiced in a limited fashion.
