The Kansas City Chiefs have highest win total in the NFL, so it's no surprise that they're the favorite to win the AFC in 2023.

The Chiefs have the highest Super Bowl odds, too, which is befitting for a team that just won the sport's highest trophy.

Next up are the Buffalo Bills who are hungry to finally get over the hump against their AFC foes. The Bills have finished the last two seasons as the best team in the NFL, according to DVOA, but two tragic playoff losses ensued.

And while the Cincinnati Bengals have made two straight AFC Championship Games, can we rely on their awful offensive line for a third straight year? Compound that with Joe Burrow's calf injury -- of which we don't know the severity and how it'll affect him the rest of the season -- and that situation may be a recipe for disaster. They're the third-best favorites to win the AFC.

Past AFC Champions

The Patriots have represented the AFC in the Super Bowl nine times since 2001, putting up a dominant effort over a nearly two-decade span. It's unlikely they'll add to that total this season.

The Chiefs have won the conference three times the last four seasons -- are they the modern-day Patriots?

And the Steelers, Colts, Broncos and Chiefs have all won the conference twice in that span -- with the Ravens doing the same if you include 2000.
