Wiseguys Betting Pirates-Brewers and 2 Other Sunday Games
Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports
If you’re anything like me, you might be looking to make up for some Kentucky Derby losses on this Sunday. If that’s the case, you’d also probably like to know which games sharps are betting this afternoon.
Here are their three favorite MLB games on today’s slate.
All data as of 11 a.m. ET. For live info, check out our MLB live odds page.
Cleveland Indians-New York Yankees Under 9.5
1:05 p.m. ET
With the Yankees’ Domingo German making his first start this afternoon, sportsbooks opened this total at 9.5, making it the highest opener on today’s slate. Still, 57% of bettors have taken the over, but sharps clearly aren’t among that majority.
San Francisco Giants (+124) at Atlanta Braves
1:35 p.m. ET
They haven’t triggered a bet signal to this point, but the Giants’ betting percentages have made it clear that wiseguys are backing them.
Thirty percent of bets have landed on San Francisco, but those account for 77% of the money wagered, meaning that sharps are likely among that 30%. They’ve also dropped a cent from their opening Pinnacle number despite being the less popular side.
Pittsburgh Pirates (+114) at Milwaukee Brewers
2:10 p.m. ET
Sharps have been all over the Pirates today, as they have the highest bet vs. dollar discrepancy and the most bet signals of any team on today’s slate.
Only a third of bettors are rolling with Pittsburgh, but 79% of moneyline dollars have brought the Bucs down from their opening number of +131.
