The Illinois sports betting market just got hotter (again).
For some context, back in 2020, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker suspended mandatory in-person registration requirements due to the COVID-19; but the mandates were put back in place a month later. This mandate was back and forth for quite a while before being continuously extended.
Fast forward to now, and bettors will be able to register online again as of March 5, 2022.
