Updated Oct. 7: The Dodgers moved to +110 favorites following their NL Wild Card Game victory over the St. Louis. The Dodgers had been +200 favorites prior to the game, despite needing one more win than the rest to reach the World Series.

The Los Angeles Dodgers had their eight-year streak of NL West titles snapped, but are still expected to emerge from the National League and return to defend their World Series crown, according to odds posted at FanDuel shortly after the regular season concluded on Sunday.

The Giants, who won 107 games to dethrone the Dodgers and have consistently performed like the best team in baseball all season long, check in right behind their NL West rivals at +250.

NL Central and East champions, the Brewers and Braves, are right behind at +350 and +500, respectively. Those two teams meet in the NLDS starting Friday in Milwaukee.

The Cardinals, who won 17 straight games in September to separate themselves from the rest of the NL wild-card contenders, are +1200.

The Cardinals and Dodgers meet on Wednesday in Los Angeles in the winner-take-all NL Wild Card Game.
