We are in the Caribbean this weekend for a much needed vacation and I'm planning on making all the bets. All. The. Bets.

Because when I say "we," I mean just my husband and myself.

No kids. No whining and complaining (mostly). No waking up at 5:45am to a crying two-year-old who lost one sock in her bed.

And absolutely no tantrums over not being picked as the "imposter" in "Among Us." Hot damn, I'm excited.

It's gonna be an epic week filled with frozen drinks, rum floaters, gambling and our favorite friends from up north.

With that, I'm diving deep into my NASCAR bets for Sunday's race at Dover.

I plan on going down a rabbit hole big enough to fit Alice AND Johnny Depp's marital problems.

So, let's turn it up this weekend.

While Dover doesn't come across as a flashy track, it's still a great one.

This one-mile track showcases talent over chaos, and while I admit I do love me some chaos, I'm taking island time to heart and hoping for a great driver to win a good race.

OK, and maybe a little bit of chaos.

These are the four bets that I'm taking for Dover with all of that in mind.

4 NASCAR at Dover Picks

*Odds as of Sunday morning

1. Kyle Larson (+450) to Win

I mean, I really don't feel like I need to explain this one too much. He won 11 races last season and Dover is the perfect track to showcase his talents and add another W to his season.

2. William Byron (+200) for a Top-5 Finish

I liked Byron to win, but with a backup car and having to start in back, I changed it up a little.  I still like Byron and believe he will do well.

3. Kevin Harvick (+2000) to Win

I can't take much credit for this one, as Nick Giffen wrote a great article about why he thinks Harvick is a contender today at Dover.

And Harvick is like a nice bourbon … he might not be the flashiest driver, but when you really need a bet to come through, he's your guy.

4. Honorable mention: Daniel Suarez

So, I happened to find myself in his hauler while it was raining (and snowing) at Martinsville a few weeks ago.  I totally fan-girled my ass off and I'm not proud of myself.

Was I a Suarez fan before that?

I dunno …

Am I a fan now? YEP!

While I don't currently like the price on Suarez, I do like the driver himself.

Barring any more random workout injuries, I'll be looking to bet him live during the race.

And I'll be sure to keep you all updated on the impeding Suarez restraining order.
