The Fourth of July is our Independence Day. It is the day we celebrate our freedom from tyranny. Our freedom from oppression. Our freedom to wager on grown adults stuffing hot dogs down their gullets.

The Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating contest on Coney Island is held every Fourth of July, and I was not going to miss it this year. I took to the corner of Surf and Stillwell with The Action Network crew to capture the moment.

Bon Appetit.
