QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ACTION NETWORK APP

Where can I download the app?

The Action Network app is available via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. You can find the download links on our app download page.

Is the app free?

Yes, the app is free to download and use. With a free account, you can get live odds, track your bets, follow friends and experts, read dozens of free articles and so much more.

For a small monthly subscription, you can upgrade your account to PRO, which will give you access to premium insider analysis, exclusive public bet totals vs money data, real-time bet tracking analytics, sync your bets across web and mobile apps and track more advanced bets like parlays and teasers.

How do I claim a username?

You can claim your username by clicking the pencil icon located in the top right of the My Action tab in the app.

Why should I claim a username?

Your unique Action Network username will allow you to become followable and connect with friends and other users on the app.

Can people see my picks in the app?

If you’ve claimed a username, your picks will be followable by anyone with your myaction.app/[username] link. If you’d prefer to keep your picks private, just toggle “Allow Friend Following” to OFF in Profile Settings in the My Action tab.

How can my friends follow me?

Your friends can follow you if you share your unique myaction.app/[username] link with them. Just make sure that you have “Allow Friend Following” ON in your Profile Settings.

You can share your myaction.app/[username] by scrolling to the bottom of your My Action tab and clicking either Copy or Share Link.

How do I manage my alerts & notifications?

You can manage all of your notification settings by accessing Alert Settings in Settings, found by clicking the gear icon located in the top left of your My Action Tab.

Notifications must also be on for The Action Network, found in the general settings of your device.

If those settings are turned on and you experience notification issues, please send an email to feedback@actionnetwork.com with the email address associated with your account, the type of device you are using, and a brief description of the issue and we’ll look into it as soon as possible.

What do I do if I logged in with Facebook and I’ve deactivated my Facebook account?

If you’ve linked your account to a Facebook or social media account that you no longer use, reach out to feedback@actionnetwork.com.

Please provide the current email associated with your Action Network account and a new email address you’d like to have linked to your account.  We will migrate your account over.

ODDS & BETTING

Does The Action Network take bets?

No, we are not a sportsbook. We provide sports betting analytics and content to help you make smarter bets. In order to place a bet, you need to bet through a sportsbook.

How often do the odds update?

The odds are live and update in real-time. As soon as the sportsbooks change the odds, they update automatically on the Live Odds page and in the app.

Where does the betting data come from?

The betting percentages (% of bets and % of money) come from various sportsbooks that we work with.

Where do the “open” and “current” odds come from?

The open and current odds are market consensus odds by default, but you can customize your sportsbook in Settings on your My Action tab in the app.

How do I input my bets in the app to track them?

In order to input a bet, you have to create an account (which is 100% free). Once you have created an account, there are a couple of ways to input your bets in the app:

  • +BETS from the Today view or Scores tab.
  • Or by clicking an individual game matchup and choosing a side from the game card.
  • PRO Angles section of the Today view.
  • You can also track bets made by experts from the Today View or Follow Tab.

How do I track Futures bets?

For Futures bets, you can click the Scores tab on the bottom nav bar (in between Today and News) and use the pulldown window from top bar to access Futures lines. 

Do you plan on adding new sports/wager types/features?

If there is a specific sport/wager type/feature you’d like to see in the app, you can email your suggestions to feedback@actionnetwork.com.

Our team at Action Network HQ is constantly working on adding new features to enhance your betting experience.

What do I do if a bet is graded incorrectly or my game is over and the bet is still pending?

Send an email to feedback@actionnetwork.com with the email address associated with your account and a brief description of the issue. We’ll look into it as soon as possible.

BILLING & SUBSCRIPTIONS

What is the Free Trial protocol?

Some subscriptions are eligible for a 7-day FREE trial immediately following the sign-up date.  If you wish to cancel before you are billed, you must do so before the last day of your trial period as to not be charged.

What should I do if I’m unable to access items I’ve paid for as part of my Action Network subscription?

First, make sure you are logged in with your correct account credentials. If you are still experiencing issues, send an email to feedback@actionnetwork.com with the email associated with your account, the name/type of device you are using, and a brief description of the problem.

How do I change my credit card on file?

To change the credit card you have on file, go to www.actionnetwork.com and click your initials in the top right corner. From there, click Settings and then go to Manage My Subscription, Update Payment Method.

What is the refund policy?

In order to prevent interruptions in service, The Action Network uses a recurring payment structure where memberships automatically renew until canceled by the customer.

All memberships automatically renew upon expiration. Once you cancel, you won’t be charged again, but you are responsible for whatever charges have already been incurred for the current billing period.

For example, if your billing cycle renews on the 17th of every month, and you cancel on the 24th, you’ll still have to pay for the current month, but you won’t be charged again after that.
