Rory McIlroy hasn’t won a major championship since 2014, but there’s no better place for him to end the streak than Kiawah Golf Resort at the PGA Championship.
McIlroy (+1000) is the early betting favorite for the 2021 PGA Championship, which is scheduled for May 20-23 in South Carolina at the same course McIlroy dominated for his win in 2012.
McIlroy beat the field by eight strokes that year, the largest margin of victory in the stroke play era of the tournament.
He’s tied at the top with Dustin Johnson, slightly ahead of Jon Rahm (+1100), Justin Thomas (+1200), Bryson DeChambeau (+1400) and Jordan Spieth (+1400).
Two-time champion Brooks Koepka leads the next tier of golfers at +1600. Defending champion Collin Morikawa is +2500, as is Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama.
