There does not seem to be anything standing in Gonzaga's way to repeat as West Coast Conference champions. As expected, the Zags enjoy a cushion at the top heading into March. While nothing is a official yet, Gonzaga should be able to coast to a regular season crown and prepare for March tournament play with relatively little pressure.
WCC Men's Basketball History
The Gonzaga Bulldogs have brought the the WCC national attention as a premier program that is seemingly always challenging for a title. While it has yet to win its first title, the Bulldogs are primed to continue to be a powerhouse in the years to come. Other teams in the WCC have made tournament appearances and have enjoyed moderate success, but the WCC continues to be a one team race for all intents and purposes.
