Unibet PA Sportbook Review Chart

Summary

Unibet is a popular European sportsbook and are starting to expand into the U.S. They're now live in three states -- New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Indiana -- and will likely continue to add new states as sports betting becomes more broadly legalized. Unibet isn't the sleekest sportsbook and lacks with bonus offers and promos, but they are a reliable book that is fairly easy to use and has solid customer service.

Unibet Bonuses & Promotions

Bonuses & Promos from Unibet PA - 3.0 / 5 Stars

Unibet has a standard sign-up offer like every other book, but that's about where the value ends, so if you're signing up that's likely the bonus you'll want to take advantage of. They do post regular boosts and promos, but they're largely on longshot bets and have minimal value for the customer. Read More

Mobile App & Website

Unibet PA: Sports Betting Mobile App - 3.0 / 5 Stars

Unibet does have a mobile app, but it's definitely not as sleek as ones you'll see from other U.S. sportsbooks. The navigation can be tough to use, especially in a sport like college football with so many games. It gets the job done and is mostly reliable, but there are better apps out there. Read More

Registering & Cashiering at Unibet

Unibet PA: Registering & Cashiering - 4.5 / 5 Stars

We haven't had issues depositing or withdrawing money at Unibet, and in fact we've heard great reviews from other users on that process. They're a reliable book, and they're regulated by the state they operate in, so you don't have to worry about your money. Further, they've proven to be fast and easy to work with in this regard. Betting Options

Unibet PA: Betting Options - 4.0 / 5 Stars

Unibet is a large sportsbook that's been around for a long time, and thus they are pretty robust in their offerings, both in terms of sports and bet types. They do use Kambi, an odds provider also used by a variety of U.S. sportsbooks, which means that Unibet's odds are going to be similar to the market. Most bettors will find just about anything they'd like to bet on the site. Read More

Unibet vs Other Sportsbooks

Unibet PA: Competitor Comparison - 3.5 / 5 Stars

If you're looking to bet big markets like NFL spreads, Unibet is in line with the market. Where they differ a bit is in the hold on moneylines and futures, where they're a bit higher than industry standard. They do offer competitive prices on props we've found, so make sure to check out their odds if you like to bet on particular markets more than others. Read More

Unibet Bonuses & Promotions

Sports betting is tough to grind out a profit from, partly because it's difficult to predict the future with sports but also because of the juice -- also known as the vig or tax -- taken by sportsbooks on each bet made. That's why it's important to take advantage of bonuses, offers and promotions from sportsbooks when they offer them. Unfortunately, the ongoing offers for existing users are lacking at Unibet, but they do offer a solid sign-up bonus that's worth taking advantage of when you sign up.

The Action Network users can get $30 free plus up to a $600 risk-free bet when they sign up and deposit at least $10 into their account.

Some fine print details:

  • The $30 free will come in the form of three $10 free bets, two of which can be on any market while one must be used on a live bet.
  • The $600 free bet is available for Action Network users who deposit at least $10 into their account. It has to be used all at once on your first bet, which is made with your own cash. If that first bet loses, users will be credited back in free bets the amount of the wager up to $600.
  • The risk-free bet is a direct match of the first bet, which has to be made with cash. That means if you want to take full advantage of the $600 offer, you'll have to deposit at least $600 and use that on your first bet.
  • There is a 1x rollover requirement on the bonus funds from the risk-free bet, which has to be satisfied within 30 days.

All in all, this is a solid offer -- and given Unibet doesn't offer a lot of other promos, this is likely the one you'll want to choose. The rollover requirement of just 1x is solid compared to other books.

Mobile App & Website

All in all, while it's not the most user-friendly experience, Unibet's mobile app largely works just fine. You might have to work a bit more than other books to find your bets, but it's reliable and smooth from there on out.

Web Experience

Unibet's desktop website is easier to manage than the web, largely because of the search function to find bets that is pretty glitchy in the app. The navigation isn't ideal, and the list of games can be tough to scroll through especially in sports with a ton of games on a slate like college football and basketball, but you can save time by searching for those teams or games.

Once you find a particular game, the navigation does get a little bit easier. You should have no problems finding a game prop, player prop or anything else, and they are a large book and offer just about any bet type you might be looking for.

The bet slip experience could be improved, notably by letting users input both the amount they want to win and the amount they want to bet -- it's just the latter currently. Still, it works well and it's a fast process, which is useful on a busy NFL Sunday morning.

Registering & Cashiering at Unibet

One of the biggest advantages of betting with a legal, regulated U.S. sportsbook like Unibet is that you never have to worry about your data, account or money. Again, they are heavily regulated by the state they operate in, and the gaming boards are in place to protect you, the consumer. You don't have to stress about being defrauded or getting your withdrawals like at an offshore sportsbook operating outside of the U.S.

All in all, we've had no issues depositing or withdrawing at Unibet. When getting feedback from other users, payout speed was one of the best things they said about Unibet.

Payout Speed

We've heard that Unibet processes and pays out withdrawals fast. They list on their support site that their review process takes up to 72 hours, but oftentimes it is much quicker. You do have to withdraw at least $10, so keep that in mind when moving money on and off your account.

Unibet has every payout and deposit option in the book, including:

  • Bank account
  • Credit card
  • Debit card
  • Prepaid Unibet card (Play+)
  • PayPal
  • E-Check

Spending Controls

Most legal sportsbooks have self-imposed limiting controls in place, and Unibet is no different. These are effective ways to stop yourself from betting too much if it’s becoming a problem or to just be proactive about setting healthy limits for yourself. We recommend configuring whatever set up helps you maintain responsible limits, and educating yourself. The controls Unibet offers include:

  • Player Limits: Limit your deposits by day, week, or month of the year.
  • Self Exclusion: Ban yourself from using the app for a set period of time.
  • Cool Off: Prevent yourself from depositing or placing bets for a set period of time, while still accessing the app.

In addition to the Unibet-provided resources, The Action Network has developed bankroll management educational materials to help ensure bettors have fun and establish sustainable behavior.

Betting Options

There are a couple ways sportsbooks can be unique in the market: They can set their own odds, they can offer unique markets and they can be the first to market. Because Unibet uses Kambi, a popular odds provider, they don't really do any of those three things, although very few books in the U.S. do.

All in all, almost every bettor will likely find what they're looking for and more at Unibet.

Bet types available

Unibet offers markets on pretty much everything under the sun. They list game props, player props, and derivative markets, as well as niche sports like handball, rugby, snooker and volleyball. They are one of few books to offer some of those rarer sports, so they're a book to look into if you like wagering on the non-major options.

That’s in addition to all the popular, standard bets you can get at any sportsbook — point spreads, totals, moneyline, first half derivatives, etc. These include:

  • Spreads
  • Moneylines
  • Totals
  • First half
  • Second half
  • Player props
  • Futures

Sports Markets Offered

Again, Unibet does use Kambi, an odds provider used by a bunch of other U.S. sportsbooks. Still, those books can vary in the select sports they offer, and Unibet is a little more robust in their offerings on niche sports.

  • NFL
  • NBA
  • MLB
  • NHL
  • College football
  • College basketball
  • Soccer
  • UFC/MMA
  • Tennis
  • Golf
  • Boxing
  • Cricket
  • Darts
  • Handball
  • Motorsports
  • Rugby
  • Snooker
  • Table Tennis
  • Australian Rules Football
  • Volleyball
  • Other Available Unibet Markets
There are a ton of other available markets, too, including live betting, which is growing in popularity in the U.S. sports betting landscape.

    Unibet vs Other Sportsbooks

While sign-up offers, promos and user experience are all crucial factors in selecting a sportsbook, the most sophisticated bettors are often worried about the price. We can compare books in this regard a couple of ways:

    • Juice: Also referred to as the “vig,” this is the tax a sportsbook charges for a bet. The standard odds for a spread bet is -110, which means you have to pay $110 to win $10. That extra $10 is the tax.
    • Hold: Similar to the juice, hold is defined as the percentage a sportsbook keeps for every dollar wagered. It’s a better metric to measure for moneylines, for example.

Most online U.S. books -- in states where betting is entirely online and not regulated by the state lottery, at least -- have standard juice on your typical bets. Take, for example, the juice on spread bets for the NFL. There’s no major difference between sportsbooks: It is commonplace to get -110 on both sides for both the spread and the over/under.

In terms of hold on moneylines, here’s how Unibet has compared with other U.S. books in the past. Unibet, on average, has been on the higher end of the industry. You'll find most books in the 4-4.5% range, and Unibet often approaches the 5% mark. That may seem like a minor difference, but it can really add up over time.

All in all, Unibet is comparable to the other U.S. online sportsbooks in juice for the most popular bets, notably spread and totals, and it’s on the higher end for moneyline wagers, outright bets, etc.

All in all, it depends on the market, too. We've found that Unibet for some major sport prop markets will offer -112 juice on both sides, which is solid in the industry. A lot of books will list those at -115 prices, and the higher books will even jump up to -120.

If you want to bet major markets or props, Unibet is a worthy addition to your betting portfolio. If you're more interested in futures, moneylines and outrights, they're still worth an add, but make sure to line shop when you're ready to make your bet.

No, as long as you’re inside of the states of Pennsylvania or New Jersey, you can wager with Unibet.

If you’re betting through Unibet’s mobile sportsbook, be sure to enable location services as it employs geolocation technology to ensure players are within the borders of Pennsylvania or New Jersey.

What’s the best promotion at Unibet?

If you’re new to Unibet, take advantage of a risk-free bet up to $250 AND two free $10 bets as Welcome Bonus promotions.

If you’re in Pennsylvania, click here to learn more and sign up. If you’re in New Jersey, click here.

Do Unibet’s $250 risk-free bet and two free $10 bets promotions require promo codes?

No, there is no promo code required.

Two free $10 bets will be automatically added to all new eligible accounts.

In order to activate a risk-free $250 bet, be sure to select the “Up to $250 Risk Free Bet (if your first cash bet loses) 1st deposit only” offer when making your first deposit. This is available in the “Select your bonus” section.

How do I take advantage of Unibet’s risk-free $250 bet?

Once you’ve made a deposit and selected this bonus, your first cash bet will be refunded in bonus money should it lose, up to $250, within 72 hours.

What is the rollover requirement for Unibet’s risk-free $250 bet?

This promotion requires a one-time rollover within 30 days, meaning bettors must bet an amount equal to the bonus on a wager that will be settled within 30 days.

For example, if your first wager with Unibet is $250 and loses, you will receive $250 in bonus money. Within 30 days, you must wager an additional $250 on bets that will be settled in that time period.

This can be one $250 bet or multiple bets that add up to $250, as long as each of those wagers in settled within the required 30-day time frame.

After this has been satisfied, bettors can then withdraw bonus funds from their accounts.

How do I select which of my bets will be eligible for the risk-free $250 bonus?

Unibet will consider your first settled cash bet as your risk-free wager.

Are the any odds restrictions for the risk-free $250 bet?

Yes, your wager must have minimum odds of -115.

How do I take advantage of Unibet’s two free $10 bets?

Once you’ve made a deposit and your account is verified, your two free $10 bets will be automatically applied to your account.

To use your two free bets, add any sports bet to your bet slip, then select the free bet option.

Please note that should you win either of these wagers, your free money bet stake is not included in the payout.

For example, if you place a $10 bet at +100 and win, you’ll be credited with just the $10, not $20 (the $10 stake plus the $10 winnings).

What sports can I bet on with my risk-free $250 bet and two free $10 bets?

Risk-free bets can be used on any market offered at Unibet’s sportsbook.

What is the best way to take advantage of Unibet’s $250 risk-free bet and two free $10 bets?

Since Unibet considers your first wager as the bet eligible for the $250 risk-free promotion, be sure to place your biggest bet first, then use your two $10 wagers.

This will maximize the value of the risk-free bonus promotions.
