There's a new No. 2 in town.

With a trio of top 20 wins over the past week plus, Michigan State has skyrocketed into the No. 2 spot in my power ratings.

With more consistent play from both Aaron Henry and Rocket Watts, Michigan State finally looks like the team many expected all season long.

Sparty is the clear class of the Big Ten, but still not in the same tier as Kansas, which remains about 3 points better than every other team on a neutral court.

The three biggest movers of the past week in each direction:

  • Wyoming +43
  • Hampton +27
  • Southern +27
  • Columbia -26
  • Southern Miss -25
  • Bowling Green -25
