  • Sharp bettors are affecting lines in four of Tuesday's college basketball matchups, including Xavier-Missouri (7 p.m. ET) and Buffalo-Syracuse (8 p.m. ET).
  • Sports Insights' Bet Signals reveal which way the smart money is going.

Tuesday's college hoops slate brings bettors close to 30 games from which to choose, and that's before all of the added games being offered by sportsbooks.

Of those, four have attracted significant action from sharp bettors, including three of Tuesday's five most heavily bet games.

Princeton @ Duke

6 p.m. ET

Sharp angle: Over (moved from 153.5 to 160)

Because casual bettors prefer rooting for points, the over is usually the more popular play when it comes to totals, regardless of sport. That's not meant to be read as a setup for a contrarian over — sorry to disappoint.

But although the over has been the public pick in this matchup, it's also drawn attention of sharp bettors.

The 63% of bets on the over have accounted for 74% of money wagered, meaning it's attracting the bigger, probably sharper bettors.

Five Sports Insights Bet Signals have also been triggered on the over, the most recent of which hit a total of 159, helping propel the line move.

Xavier @ Missouri

7 p.m. ET

Sharp angle: Xavier (moved from +2 to -2.5)

A 2-point dog in this matchup less than 24 hours ago, Xavier is now listed at -2.5 on the road against Mizzou, as once again sharp and public bettors look to be in agreement.

Fifty-six percent of bettors are backing the Musketeers, but they've generated 78% of the money wagered so far.

On top of that, Bet Signals have illustrated two instances of sharp action hitting Xavier, one at +1 and another at -1.

Buffalo @ Syracuse

8 p.m. ET

Sharp angle: Under (moved from 144.5 to 143)

In what will be the most heavily bet game on Tuesday's slate, bettors are close to split on the total. A slight majority (53%) are playing the over, yet this total is down 1.5 points from its opening number.

Along with the 62% of money it has generated, the under has triggered three Bet Signals, most recently at 144, to cause the line move.

North Dakota @ Marquette

9 p.m. ET

Sharp angle: Over (moved from 144 to 144.5)

It might not draw as many eyeballs as the other games on tap tonight, but sharps have still found value on this total.

Here's a case in which the public will actually be rooting for defense, as two-thirds of bettors on the total have played the under. Despite that, the total is rising thanks to action from wiseguys.

They've triggered three Bet Signals on the over, including one at the current number. That means this line was up to 145 for a short time, but has since dropped back down to 144.5.

But with no indication of sharp action causing that last move, it's certainly reasonable to think that wiseguys could hit the over once again.
