NBA Injury News

8:30 p.m. ET: Malcolm Brogdon and Jeremy Lamb have both officially been downgraded to out on Saturday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out on the second night of a back-to-back.

5 p.m. ET Update: Bradley Beal has been ruled out Saturday for the fourth straight game due to a bruised hip.

3 p.m. ET Update: Domantas Sabonis suffered a sprained left ankle during Friday's loss and will sit in the Pacers' game Saturday for the first time all season. Mike Conley has been ruled out for the Utah Jazz on the second night of a back-to-back for right hamstring injury management.

Malik Beasley and Ricky Rubio are both doubtful for the Minnesota Timberwolves on the second night of a back-to-back. Derrick Jones Jr. has been ruled out for the Portland Trail Blazers on the second night of a back-to-back on Saturday due to a bruised quad.

Initial reports had Joel Embiid on track to return to the lineup on Saturday following a three-week absence due to a left knee bone bruise. The Sixers have since listed Embiid as questionable prior to their home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Embiid's return could come with a minute restriction following the lengthy layoff.

Kristaps Porzingis will rest on the second night of a back-to-back Saturday for right knee injury recovery. In games Porzingis has missed for the Dallas Mavericks this season, Luka Doncic has led the team with a +3.78% Usage Rate while Dwight Powell and James Johnson each averaged an additional three minutes per game.

On the other side of that matchup, Bradley Beal is once again questionable to play. He has missed the previous three games due to a right hip contusion and Jerome Robinson has filled in as a starter in his place.

The Indiana Pacers could be without both Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis Saturday. Brogdon sat out the first leg of their back-to-back set with a hip injury and Sabonis left the game in the third quarter with an ankle injury.

RJ Barrett is questionable on the second night of a back-to-back Saturday due to a sprained ankle that has been bothering him for the last few days. He had played more than 31 minutes in 10 straight Knicks games before the loss on Friday, and there was no report of a minute limitation.
