  • Professional bettors have targeted the San Antonio Spurs-Los Angeles Clippers over/under tonight (10:30 p.m. ET, TNT).
  • Using The Action Network's betting tools, we analyze how wiseguys are betting this NBA matchup.

Professional bettors go into every day with an open mind. Instead of letting bias (or yesterday's results) cloud their vision, they cover up the names of the teams and bet based on value and numbers — not teams and players.

If the value is there, they fire. If not, they lay off.

Tonight, sharps have picked apart the small three-game slate and gotten down hard on a late night over/under — San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Clippers (10:30 p.m. ET).

Betting Terms to Know

Steam Move: Sudden, drastic and uniform line movement across the market caused by an overload of sharp action from respected players.

Reverse Line Movement: When the betting line moves in the opposite direction of the betting percentages. It’s a top smart money indicator.

Line Freeze: When one side is getting heavy betting, but the line won’t budge, indicating sharp liability on the other side.

Juice: The tax or commission that bettors must pay sportsbooks in order for them to accept your wager. A -115 juice means a bettor would have to wager $115 to win $100.

San Antonio Spurs at Los Angeles Clippers

10:30 p.m. ET on TNT

Sharp angle: Under (219.5 to 216.5)

Recreational bettors don't know which way to go with this one, but sharps have taken a clear side.

Currently, 52% of bets are on the Over, yet the total has fallen from 219.5 to 216.5.

In a vacuum, a total shouldn't move at all if the betting percentages are split. Maybe the juice will move a cent or two, but the line certainly won't drop three full points.

The total fell because sharps have been hammering the under across the market.

Using our Sports Insights bet signals, we've noticed three separate steam and reverse line moves on the Under. As soon as the line opened, wiseguys hammered the Under 219.5.

Later in the day, Goodfellas crushed the Under 218.5 and Under 218. This overload of smart money caused the total to fall all the way to 217.

We haven't seen a single conflicting move on the Over, which means pros are united on the Under.

The under also enjoys a massive bets vs. dollars discrepancy– only 48% of bets are on the Under, yet it accounts for 77% of dollars, further evidence of smart money expecting a low-scoring game.
