Matchday 4 of the World Cup maintained the tournament’s strong start with Mexico shocking Germany, 1-0, in Group F, and Switzerland holding Brazil to a 1-1 draw in Group E. Serbia beat Costa Rica in the early match, 1-0, on a perfectly struck free kick.
