Closing out Saturday’s Premier League slate, Arsenal looks to keep the momentum going with a positive result at promoted side AFC Bournemouth.

The Gunners join Manchester City as the only teams to be perfect through the first pair of matches, with manager Mikel Arteta’s side beating Crystal Palace and Leicester City.

As for the hosts, the Cherries picked up a great result in their opener by beating Aston Villa before being embarrassed by City last weekend.

This is likely going to be another difficult match for manager Scott Parker’s team, but you will have to get creative if you want to back Arsenal.

AFC Bournemouth

Bournemouth returned to the EPL after just two seasons in the lower division, with this also being the second club Parker has earned promotion with in his career.

Parker will be hoping for a longer stay than when he came up with Fulham, which ended with an instant relegation back down to the Championship.

One thing to keep an eye on is whether Dominic Solanke, last season’s leading striker, is healthy enough to play after being sidelined at Manchester City last time out.

By The Numbers

  • 20th — Bournemouth is bottom of the Premier League in expected goals per 90 minutes (0.32) and shots per match (five), according to fbref.com.
  • 29 — Solanke’s goal tally from last season was only beaten by Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrović (43) in the Championship. He would be a huge loss if he misses this game.

Arsenal

It has been a wonderful start to the season for Arsenal, which secured a pair of victories and scores six goals in the process.

Summer signing Gabriel Jesus didn’t take long to impress his new home fans after producing a dazzling display against Leicester City last weekend with two goals. He also set up two others on the day.

Once you add Oleksandr Zinchenko and William Saliba to the backline, this is set up to be the best campaign under Arteta.

By The Numbers

  • 0.75 — The Gunners have only allowed this average of xG per game this season, which has come against much better attacking teams than Bournemouth.
  • 5 — In the six matches against relegated sides last year, Arsenal earned a clean sheet in all but one contest.

Betting Analysis & Pick

There are different ways to get behind the visitors in this fixture, but my favorite bet is the prop play of Arsenal via the Win to Nil wager at +120 odds offered by BetMGM oddsmakers.

If you want to look at other options, you can pair a Gunners victory with the total falling under 4.5 (-140) or 3.5 goals (+110) via Single Game Parlay bets, as I’m not expecting this to be a high-scoring affair.

Bournemouth did find the back of the net twice in the opener. However, both goals came from set pieces and the Gunners ranked sixth in the EPL last season in fewest goals allowed from those plays.

Solanke missing this match would also be a huge loss for the Cherries, who are going to struggle to score even if he does play.

The Pick: Arsenal — Win to Nil (+120)
