Scottie Scheffler is favored to win the 2025 U.S. Open at +275 odds according to odds posted at BetMGM on Sunday afternoon.

Scheffler, the world's No. 1-ranked player, is coming off a dominant victory in the year's second major at the PGA Championship last month. Scheffler followed that up with a win at the Memorial Tournament two weekends ago, and enters this tournament in top form with three wins on the year in total.

Scheffler's win at the PGA Championship was his third career major title. He has won the Masters twice, so a win at the U.S. Open would give him the third leg of golf's grand slam.

Next up on the odds board is Bryson DeChambeau, who is +800 to win the 2025 U.S. Open. A two-time U.S. Open winner and the tournament's defending champion, DeChambeau has had a strong year in major tournaments, posting a tie for second place at the PGA Championship and a tie for fifth place at the Masters.

Speaking of the Masters, after winning the career grand slam in Augusta earlier this year, Rory McIlroy enters the 2025 U.S. Open as the third favorite at +1100 odds.

McIlroy won the U.S. Open all the way back in 2011 for his first career major trophy. He enters this weekend in questionable form after missing the cut by 12 strokes at last weekend's RBC Canadian Open.

Jon Rahm is the fourth favorite to win the 2025 U.S. Open at +1200 odds. A two-time major champion, Rahm won the 2021 U.S. Open and is also the 2023 Masters champion.

The rest of the top 10 on the U.S. Open odds board includes: Xander Schauffele at +2200, Collin Morikawa and Ludvig Aberg at +2500, Joaquin Niemann at +3300, and Justin Thomas and Patrick Cantlay at +4000.

The 2025 U.S. Open will be played at Oakmont Country Club in suburban Pittsburgh, which is hosting the event for the first time since 2016. The tournament tees off on Thursday morning and will be broadcast on NBC and USA, with streaming options available via Peacock.
