Back to the wagon we go, as we have continued to ride this Blue Jays money train. As I noted in yesterday's breakdown, the Tigers cannot hit the baseball right now, and to hurt themselves even more, their bullpen has been horrible. Detroit is a loser of 10/L11 games and suffered an 11-4 loss yesterday. Today, they put Montero on the mound, who holds a 4.28 ERA, and on the surface, his numbers look decent. However, if you look at the competition he has faced, it tells a different story. He has allowed 5, 3, and 4 runs to MIL, SD, and TEX. In his other 5 games, he played BAL, COL, SF, KC, and TB, holding them all to 1 run or less. This Toronto lineup should be able to get to him, but even if they can't, I have no faith in that Tiger bullpen. Blue Jays will start Berrios today, which should give a decent opportunity to the Tigers to maybe get some offense going, but I don't see it being enough as we get into the later innings. Another good value bet is backing one of the hottest teams in baseball at basically even money.
