MLB Home Run Picks for July 25

George Springer (+475)
at Tigers (SP: RHP Keider Montero)

Tigers pitching has been in rough shape recently and Keider Montero is likely going to struggle today.
While Montero has been better against right-handed hitters this season in a small sample size, he's been hit hard by righties in his career (1.59 HR/9).
Blue Jays star outfielder Springer has been having a decent year and his underlying numbers have been the best they've been in years.
He's been good over the last month with six homers and I have the true odd on him around +400.

Fernando Tatis Jr. (+400)
at Cardinals (SP: RHP Miles Mikolas)

Fernando Tatis Jr. (and Manny Machado) are priced a bit too high given the spot.
Cardinals right-hander Miles Mikolas has been horrible this season, with an ERA over 5.00 and a 1.50 HR/9 to righties. The weather in St. Louis should be great for hitting, with temps in the low 90s and high humidity during game time.
I have the true odds here around +325, making this a great bet.

James Wood (+375)
at Twins (SP: RHP Zebby Matthews)

Nationals All-Star James Wood has been cold recently, but he's got a ton of pop and the spot tonight is a good one.
Wood gets a matchup against the Twins' Zebby Matthews, who has been crushed by lefty power in his career (2.87 HR/9).
The weather in Minnesota is solid for hitting with temps in the mid 80s and high humidity.
I have the true odds on Wood around +300.

Nick Kurtz (+300)
at Astros (SP: RHP Ryan Gusto)

These odds for Athletics slugger Nick Kurtz are a bit low, but the spot is great.
Astros right-hander Ryan Gusto has been absolutely hammered by lefty power this season, giving up 2.12 HR/9. He's due for some positive regression, but he still grades out as a great matchup for lefty power.
Kurtz has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball over the last few months, and I have the true odds here around +250.
