The Phillies take on the Marlins in an NL East showdown, with Philadelphia on a nice streak, winning six of their last seven games. Miami is a cellar-dweller in the National League East, but they are coming off of a nice 10-3 win over Philadelphia at LoanDepot Park.
Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas went off in Friday's seven-run win over the Phillies, notching two hits and three RBIs.
Miami has a terrible offense but a singular outburst from a player such as Rojas can power it to a win on Saturday, as the Phillies will have relief pitcher Ranger Suarez starting.
Suarez has an excellent 1.48 ERA on the season, but overall Philadelphia has a bottom-10 bullpen ERA as a unit. The Phillies have the advantage on Saturday, but the play of the Marlins' order this weekend has shown that they can produce in spurts, with Saturday looking like one of those occasions.
