Tigers, Rockies Picks & Betting Analysis
I don't mind Spencer Torkelson in Game 1 of the doubleheader, but I really like him in Game 2.
Coors Field is one of the best ballparks in the league for hitting, and this matchup isn't bad.
We don't have a huge sample size of Tanner Gordon in the majors, but he's been absolutely crushed by righty power — he has given up a high 3.24 HR/9 — and he grades out as an above-average matchup for righty power.
The bullpen behind him is horrible, so Torkelson should be in a good spot all game. And in the second game of a doubleheader, the bullpen may be gassed. I have the true odds here around +325, making this a great bet.
Pick: Spencer Torkelson Over 0.5 Home Runs (+400)
