To start the day Saturday, Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray is more than a 1-2 favorite to win this year’s Heisman Trophy. But that’s no indication as to how this race has looked for the greater part of this season.

Until this past week — following conference championship weekend — it had been about 14 weeks since someone other than Tua Tagovailoa was listed as the favorite.

Tua had a stranglehold on the race less than a month ago, being listed as high as -1000, and some books even stopped listing the Heisman prop for a few weeks.

Following their respective performances against Texas and Georgia, however, Kyler and Tua swapped places. And even since that initial odds release this week, Murray has moved from -145 to -242.

This post will remain updated throughout the day until the Heisman Trophy winner is announced at 8 p.m. ET.

7:25 p.m. ET: Once again, Murray takes two steps forward after one step back. He’s now at a new high of -265 with Tua back to +191.

6:40 p.m. ET: Murray has taken a slight shift back to -252, and Tua has inched back to +187. Haskins is now listed at +7500.

5:30 p.m. ET: Following that slight fall, Murray’s odds have reached a new high. He’s up to -255 followed by Tua at +190, and Haskins has made his way up to +7000.

3:30 p.m. ET: For the first time today, the line movement has changed direction. Murray’s odds have fallen slightly to -240, with Tua inching up to +174.
