Terms of Participation

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

Playbook Holiday Giveaway Challenge  (the “Challenge”) is governed by these Terms of Participation (“Terms”) and is subject to all applicable U.S. and Canadian federal, state, provincial and local laws. Void where prohibited.

Organizer

The Challenge is organized by Better Collective USA, Inc., with a registered office at 61 West 23rd Street, Second Floor, New York, New York 10010 (the “Organizer”). The Organizer is the owner and operator of actionnetwork.com and the @Playbook account on X (formerly Twitter).

The Challenge is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any third-party social media platform, including X. All questions or complaints must be directed to the Organizer atfeedback@actionnetwork.com.

Eligibility

1. Participation in the Challenge is open only to individuals who:
   • Are 21 years of age or older;
   • Are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and Washington, D.C., or Canada (excluding Quebec); and
   • Maintain an active creator account participating in the Playbook Creator Network (“Creators”).
2. By participating in the Challenge, you (“Participant,” “You,” “Your”) fully and unconditionally agree to these Terms, the Organizer’s Privacy Policy, and all decisions of the Organizer, which are final and binding. Winning a Prize requires full compliance with these Terms, Privacy Policy and all Challenge requirements.
3. Employees of the Organizer (including full-time, part-time, and temporary employees) are ineligible to participate.
4. All independent creators, influencers, and third-party partners participating in the Playbook Creator Network are expressly eligible.

Start and Closing Date

1. The Challenge begins on December 25, 2025, at 12:00 AM ET and ends on January 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET (the “Challenge Period”).

How to Participate

1. Participation in the Challenge is free of charge.
2. To enter, Participants must:
   • Be active members of the Playbook Creator Network.
   • Publish content on X during the Challenge Period promoting Playbook;
   • Tag @playbook in each qualifying post;
   • Ensure that the content generates measurable link clicks via the trackable link provided by the Organizer.
3. Only clicks generated from X posts published during the Challenge Period with the required @playbook tag are eligible.
4. Participants are responsible for ensuring their link tracking is functioning correctly. Clicks from posts without valid tracking data will not count toward the Challenge.

Selection of Winners & Odds

1. 1. A total of five (5) Participants (the “Winners”) will be selected.
   2. Winners will be determined solely based on the highest percentage increase in valid Playbook link clicks driven on X during the Challenge Period compared to the Thanksgiving week, Nov. 24–30, 2025 (ET), as recorded by the Organizer’s tracking system. 
   3. The Organizer’s calculations and recorded metrics are final and binding.
   4. In the event of a tie, the Participant whose first qualifying post was published earlier will be ranked higher.

   This Challenge is a skill-based contest; chance plays no role in determining the Winners, and it is not a game of gambling.

Prizes

1. The total prize pool for the Challenge is USD $2,500 (the “Prize Pool”).
2. The Prize Pool will be distributed among the five (5) Winners based on the percentage increase in valid Playbook link clicks compared to the Thanksgiving week, with amounts communicated directly to each Winner.
3. Prizes will be paid via cash transfer, digital payment, or another method determined by the Organizer.
4. Canadian winners must correctly answer a skill-testing question to claim a Prize.
5. Winners will be publicly announced on the @playbook X account within twenty-one (21) days following the end of the Challenge Period.
6. Winners will be contacted via direct message on X or the email they provided when joining the Creator Network.
7. Winners must provide any information required to process payment within five (5) days of being contacted. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the Prize.
8. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may be subject to applicable taxes. Winners are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from receiving a Prize.

Skill Testing Question (Canada Only)

To comply with Canadian law, all Canadian Participants must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to be declared a Winner and claim a Prize. The Organizer will provide the question to the Winner via direct message, email, or other communication method, and the Winner must respond correctly without assistance from any electronic device or other person. Failure to correctly answer the question will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize.

Privacy

By participating in the Challenge, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described below.

To administer the Challenge and distinguish participants, we may collect and process your personal information, including your email address, first and last name, social media handles (such as X), engagement data and any materials submitted as part of the Challenge. If you are selected as the Winner, you will be required to provide your bank or other payment account information, as determined by the Organizer, solely for the purpose of awarding the Prize. 

We do not sell or rent personal information and will only share it as necessary to administer the Challenge or fulfill the Prize.

Force Majeure

If events beyond anyone’s control – including, but not limited to, natural disasters, government actions, or technical failures – affect the Challenge, the Organizer may modify, suspend, or cancel it. Prizes may not be awarded in these cases, and the Organizer will not be liable for any resulting loss. Reasonable efforts will be made to notify participants.

General Conditions

1. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who violates these Terms, manipulates or attempts to manipulate the tracking system, or engages in fraudulent or misleading behavior. 
2. The Organizer may, at its sole discretion, modify, suspend, or terminate the Challenge if technical or other issues compromise its integrity.
3. By participating, you consent to the Organizer using your name, username, likeness, social media handles and submitted content for promotional purposes related to the Challenge, without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
4. The Organizer is not responsible for technical errors, platform outages, link-tracking failures, or other issues outside its control.

Liability & Warranties

By participating in the Challenge, Participants release and hold harmless the Organizer, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents (“Released Parties”) from any liability for errors, injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in the Challenge or the use of any Prize.

The Challenge and Prizes are provided “AS IS” without any warranty, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions may not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply locally.

Modification and Termination

The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Challenge and its rules at any time without prior notice. However, the Organizer will make every reasonable effort to inform the Participants of any changes by posting updates on its X account and/or via email.

Governing Law

The Challenge and these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
