With the Nationals sitting at 52-53 overall and 5.5 games back of the Philadelphia Phillies in the NL East, many expected Washington to deal Harper with the assumption that he will not be back in 2019.
However, according to a Tweet from the Washington Post's Chelsea Janes, the team has no plans to move Harper ahead of today's trade deadline:
Mike Rizzo just reached out with this message:
"Bryce is not going anywhere. I believe in this team."

Current odds concur, posting a price of +1500 that Harper will get traded by the end of the day. Those odds imply a 5.99% chance that Washington deals Harper.
At -5000, there's an implied probability of 94.01% that the 2015 NL MVP is still on the team's roster tomorrow.
