NBA Injury News

8 a.m. ET Update: Ben Simmons is listed out in advance of Saturday’s game as he continues to deal with an illness. Embiid (shoulder) is probable while Furkan Korkmaz (ankle) is questionable. This is a new injury for Embiid as he was previously dealing with a left knee issue…Mike Scott and Dwight Howard would handle the majority of the center minutes if he [Embiid] has to miss time.

7 p.m. ET Update: Kleber has been upgraded to available to play on Saturday after missing the previous game due to a low back contusion. The Mavs have downgraded Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) and Josh Richardson (hamstring) to out. Dwight Powell and potentially Boban Marjanovic should see more minutes in the frontcourt with Porzingis out, while Tim Hardaway Jr. and JJ Redick are in line for additional playing time with Richardson sidelined. The Mavs have gone 9-10 sans Porzingis this season.
