1 p.m. ET Update: The Celtics announced that Brown is now questionable on Saturday due to a non-COVID illness. If Brown is unable to suit up, Grant Williams and Semi Ojeleye could be in line for additional minutes.

Donovan Mitchell is the big name to focus on for Saturday as he has been ruled out against the Los Angeles Lakers. Per our NBA Insiders tool:

Mitchell was been officially diagnosed with a sprained right ankle following an MRI, and he is expected to miss several games before being cleared to play, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. He suffered the injury during the second half of the win on Friday, and his absence will likely lead to a larger role for Joe ingles.

Mike Conley, Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors have all been ruled out Saturday as well for injury recovery on the second leg of a back-to-back, according to Wojnarowski.

The Lakers have a bunch of probables on their injury report, but Markieff Morris and Marc Gasol are listed as questionable. After undergoing X-rays, Gasol was diagnosed with a fractured left pinkie finger that he suffered during Thursday's game against the Boston Celtics. Morris has missed two games with an ankle injury.

The Celtics will be without their center Robert Williams who has been ruled out for the second straight game due to a sore knee. The Golden State Warriors could see Kelly Oubre return for their primetime game against the Celtics. Oubre Was been upgraded to questionable after missing the previous four games due to a sore left wrist.
